TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS | ROME, GA
Your Firecrackers girls made the trip to Rome this weekend for the Top Flight Showcase of Champions and left no doubt they belonged.
From the first pitch to the last out, these young ladies were firing on all cylinders. The bats were hot, the defense was locked in, and the energy never wavered. We finished the weekend 5-2, falling in a hard-fought final game, and were one of only six teams remaining on Sunday.
What makes this run even more impressive is that we were the youngest team left standing. Every team around us was loaded with older players and college commits, yet our girls continued to compete, battle, and prove they can play with anyone.
This group keeps growing, keeps improving, and keeps answering every challenge placed in front of them. The future is bright, and they're showing that they belong on every field they step onto.
Now it's on to Scenic City—another opportunity to test ourselves, compete against top talent, and continue building toward where we want to be.
