Day #2. Feels like winter! We may have lost game #1, but we had the furthest hit ball. Alex hit an out of the park home run! Game #2 coming up in a few min. Hoping for at least one W this weekend.

Tough first game today against Oregon Sharks. Slammers are getting focused for the next game at 2:30.

2 losses today but a whole lot of fight. These boys never gave up. Can't wait to see what they do in the next tournament in a couple weeks. Gameball today went to Ryan for his stellar job at new position, first base.

Today wrapped up the fall season for 9U slammers. We won one, lost one, so no championship this time. We did get to beat...

Today wrapped up the fall season for 9U slammers. We won one, lost one, so no championship this time. We did get to beat the Copperheads who robbed us of a win last tournament.

Thanks Coach Eric Homansky, Coach Brian Hubbell and Eric Johns for your hours of hard work with these boys.

We didn't win the championship game, but these kids never gave up. 11 hours at the baseball field! Going home with some bling...got rings as runner up prize. Not bad for 2nd tournament together.

Now it's on to the Smyrna Spooktacular tournament on Nov. 1.
