You know...I haven't posted anything on here in a while but after watching my daughter's first high school game last night it got me thinking about these Chick's teams and how well all these girls are doing now!! Goal count from last night for former Chicks players:
Paxton Cochran - 5
Dallas Thomas - 4
Madeline Beck - 3
Maddie Peek - 2
Breanna Smith - 2
Dannie Houston - 2
Summer Janney - 1
Amelia Holder - 1
Zoe Foy - 3

Not to mention several of the girls are on some pretty elite travel teams right now:
Dallas Thomas - Hotlanta Junior Select
Elizabeth Blumthal - Hotlanta Junior Select
Austyn Gorski - Thunderbirds HX

I am sure I am missing some goals scored and some travel teams but I just wanted to take a second and say how proud I am of all these former Chicks and their accomplishments!! I wish you all the best in your future lax and life endeavors!!

Come out and see some good 7 on 7 lax this weekend at Gary Pirkle Park with the Fall Classic Lax Fest!! This was the first tournament I ever coached a team in several years ago and we had a blast!!! It's a great venue and great location and there will be some pretty good lax teams there from u11 - u19!! Come out and see us!!!

To all my former Chicks players and parents: I just wanted to share with you our experience thus far with Hotlanta Lacrosse this summer!! They are a first class lacrosse club with outstanding coaching and leadership!! Pam McNabb who is the director of Hotlanta and also one of the coaches truly is a pleasure to work with and be around...not to mention she truly cares about each and every one of her players on a personal and player development level! I am very happy we made the choice to put our child with Hotlanta Lacrosse this summer and as far as I can tell she will play travel lax with them for the rest of her travel lax career! For anyone looking for a great travel club to play for next summer or this fall I highly recommend Hotlanta Lacrossse!! So sad that the Chicks with Stix program has come to an end!! Just couldn't get much support for a highschool Chicks team this summer and the U15 team has changed their name!! I will miss being able to coach all of you and I wish you well in your future lax endeavors!! I will be uploading all of our tournament pics from all our tournaments to this page so if you ever need them they will be here in one place. I would love to hear from all of you on this page though...if you would all like to post your favorite chicks memory I think that would be awesome!! GO CHICKS!!!
