THANK YOU, PEREGRINES FAMILY!
This weekend was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose.
Just a few days ago, we were presented with an unexpected opportunity to operate the concession stand at the Junior Olympic Track Meet. It required a tremendous amount of planning, preparation, donations, and volunteer support in a very short period of time. Without hesitation, our Peregrines families answered the call.
To every parent, grandparent, family member, friend, athlete, and volunteer who donated food, supplies, equipment, funds, or countless hours of their time, THANK YOU. Whether you worked a shift, cooked food, stocked coolers, ran errands, cleaned up, cheered from the stands, or supported financially, you played an important role in making this fundraiser a tremendous success.
Because of your efforts, we not only operated a successful concession stand, but we also created meaningful fundraising support that will help our athletes continue their championship journey toward Regionals and beyond.
While the fundraiser was a huge success, the biggest highlight of the weekend was watching our athletes compete. We saw personal records, incredible determination, sportsmanship, and perseverance on display throughout the meet. Many of our athletes earned the opportunity to advance to the next level of competition, and we could not be more proud of their hard work and dedication.
This weekend truly showcased what makes the Maricopa Peregrines special. We are more than a track club. We are a family. When a need arises, people step forward. When challenges appear, people find solutions. When our athletes need support, this community shows up.
Many hands truly did make light work, and together we accomplished something special.
Congratulations to all of our athletes who competed this weekend and best of luck to those advancing to Regionals. Your coaches, families, teammates, and supporters are incredibly proud of you.
Thank you again for your generosity, commitment, and belief in our mission. The success of this weekend belongs to every member of the Peregrines family and extended family.
One Team.
One Family.
One Flight Path.
