A little summer break, but the Marianna Baseball Hit Lab project is back underway! ⚾️🔥

The dads are back at it on this HOT summer afternoon! We’ve got one of the additions up, one more to go, and then it’s time for concrete. Once that concrete gets poured, things are going to pick up BIG TIME!

We know it’s football season, and we wish all our Dawgs on the gridiron the best of luck! 🏈 But we also know baseball season will be here before we know it, and our goal is to have this project completed and ready for the boys to use, work, and get better! ⚾️💪

We truly have the best dads a team could ask for. Huge thanks to Mr Mitchell, Mr. Allgood, Mr. Flowers, Mr. Ragans, Mr. D***s, and a BIG shoutout to Brandon Tyus. Brandon has been an incredible wealth of knowledge throughout this building process. He doesn’t even have a kid on the team—he simply believes in Coach Clevenger and this project and has been willing to jump in and help see it through. We can’t thank him enough!

We also want everyone to pay attention to the local small businesses that are helping make this project happen. When you see their names, remember them for your own projects and give them an opportunity to earn your business. Supporting the people who support our kids is what it’s all about! 👊

From vision to reality. ⚾️

The first picture shows where we started. The second shows what this facility will become—a place where players can put in the work, sharpen their skills, and make memories for years to come.

This project is about more than just a building. It’s an investment in the future of our baseball program and every athlete who walks through these doors.

We can’t wait to see it filled with hard work, determination, and Bulldog pride. 💜💛

🚧⚾️ Day 1 is in the books! ⚾️🚧

Last Thursday marked the beginning of what is going to be an incredible addition to Marianna Bulldog Baseball.

Coach Clevenger has a vision of creating a 365-day-a-year, climate-controlled indoor hitting facility where our players can continue to develop no matter the weather. When it’s complete, this project will feature nearly 2,500 square feet of heated and cooled hitting cages, a weight room that’s doubled in size, enough lighting to brighten up Marianna, and—at the top of everyone’s wish list—a state-of-the-art hitting simulator.

Coach Clevenger had an outstanding first season leading the Bulldogs, and with the talent coming through the program, the future is looking bright. This facility will be something the players, coaches, school, and entire community can be proud of for years to come.

Today’s work focused on clearing the way for what’s ahead. An old cinder block building that housed a retired pitching machine came down thanks to the hard work of Mr. Barnes, Mr. Flowers, Mr. Mitchell, and Mr. D***s. One chapter is closed, and now the exciting part begins!

Bulldog fans, this is just the start. Stay tuned as we continue to share updates and watch this vision become a reality.
