Zicro Academy- Marianna BJJ can be trained for self defense, sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition.

Zicro Academy's mission is to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us while providing the highest quality martial arts instruction available in a safe and positive environment. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling or ground fighting with the goal of gaining a dominant position and using joint-locks and chokeholds to fo

rce an opponent to submit. It promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person using leverage and proper technique can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger assailant. Sparring (commonly referred to as 'rolling') and live drilling play a major role in training, and a premium is placed on performance, especially in competition. Whether learning self defense, self improvement, or fulfilling a competitive spirit, TEAM ALLIANCE will help you accomplish all of your training goals. Through an array of classes, we welcome all age and skill levels. There is a place for everyone on this team!

🥈🥇 What a weekend for Lukas! 🥇🥈

Lukas is heading home from AGF Worlds with a Gold Medal in Gi and a Silver Medal in No-Gi!

Yesterday, he battled his way through the No-Gi division, winning every match leading up to the finals. In a hard-fought championship match, he was caught in a submission in the final 20 seconds, earning the silver medal.

At this level of competition, every match is tough and every podium finish is hard earned. Coming home from a World Championship event with both a gold and a silver medal is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the hard work he puts in every day. Big shoutout to his teammates who helped get him ready for this weekend!

We’re proud of the way Lukas competed, represented his team, and left it all on the mats this weekend. Congratulations, Lukas! 🥋❤️

🥋🤍 Congratulations to Rebekah and Elias on earning their Gray & White Belts!

These two are hardworking, disciplined, and quick to learn. They have come so far and continue to impress us with their dedication and growth on the mats.

Rebekah is always willing to help newcomers and shows incredible patience with beginners. She has a servant’s heart, leads by example, and is the kind of teammate who makes everyone around her feel welcome and encouraged.

Elias is also a good teammate. He is hardworking, competitive, and thrives in an environment that challenges him. He never shies away from hard work and is always willing to push himself to be better.

Big shoutout to Skyler on earning his Purple Belt!

Skyler has been part of our gym family for many years, and it has been incredible to watch his journey over that time. Through years of hard work, dedication, perseverance, and growth, he has continued to show up, put in the work, and earn every step along the way.

A purple belt is a major milestone in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and represents a high level of skill, commitment, and maturity on the mats. This promotion is a reflection of the countless hours Skyler has invested in his training and the person he has become.
