Good morning, on a beautiful Saturday morning, June 20th, 2026. It’s going to be a wonderful day. Why, you may ask? Simple, I woke up with few pains ( not a lot) and a smile on my face. The simple joys are the most rewarding ones. Children that are well and happy. Grandchildren who are finding their way through life, as we did when we were growing up. That was anything but easy. But somehow and some way we did. Life is not easy. No one ever said it would be. But we are here and we must make the best of it. And we do, every day. Everyone, please, watch the pools this time of year. Never leave children unattended at your pool. All ages are in danger at a pool. The most vulnerable are the truly young ones, ages 1 to 10 years old. Never run into the house for a phone call and leave your child unattended at the pool. It only takes a minute to drown. Only a minute. Everyone enjoy a beautiful day today. Go ride your bicycle. I guarantee this will put a smile on your face every time.

Good morning on the 19th of June, 2026, Friday. Today is a national holiday. It commemorates the end of slavery in these United States. On this day, 155 years ago, Union soldiers brought news that slaves were free and President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation had been fully enforced. Since that day, this day has been celebrated every year by African Americans for getting what they always should have had. Freedom, equal to any American today or yesterday. Why is it so hard for people to believe in equality for all peoples? The only thing that should differentiate us from each other is how we treat each other. When we treat each other well, the world will be a wonderful place for all of us. When we treat each other badly, our world will go to hell in a bread basket. Let’s let the good always hang out. The haters and nasty people, find their own place to live and stay there with each other, all alone. Everyone have a wonderful day today. I will certainly try.

Good morning, on the 18th of June, 2026, Thursday. It’s getting warmer. Today will begin at 80 degrees and hit a staggering 92. Please remember to never leave anything live in your car today. Remember the back seat. Nothing can survive, including groceries, for any length of time in this kind of heat, when left without A/C and air, in the back seat of any car. I’m sorry, I just keep hearing of people still doing this. A man left his 2 kids in his car and he went somewhere for a time. Thank G d, others saw these poor children in the car and broke into the car. They saved 2 children’s lives. One went to the hospital, unresponsive, and the other was in bad shape too. Stories like this one should never happen. We all must be vigilant and watch our surroundings. If a parent can’t protect their children and pets, then we must. Thank you, to all who watch their surroundings and act when it is necessary. You guys are the true heroes. Everyone have a wonderful day today. Wear a hat. Wear those sunglasses. Stay covered. The sun can be a terrible companion in oppressive heat. I know. I’ve had 3 melanomas already. And a multitude of other skin-related cancers. Love to all my readers, thank you.

Good morning, it’s the 17th of June, 2026, Wednesday. It’s Hump Day. I can see the weekend from here. I hope you can too. Weather again, thunderstorms and a high of near 93 degrees. This is rainy season for all of us. This morning is a good morning to ride your bicycle before the weather keeps you inside. A little bit of exercise will do you well. Long life depends on cardio health and riding a bike gives you that and so much more. You get vitamin D for your eyes. You get heart exercise for its health. Non-impact exercise for your legs, knees, and hips. Your stress level will most certainly go down. Your lungs will exercise and expand. There is nothing but good that can come from riding a bike. No other exercise comes close to bike riding except swimming. I still like riding a bike more than jumping into a pool. Everyone have a wonderful day. Drive slowly. The ground will be wet and stopping a car will not come easily. Off the phone while driving. Driving skills are terrible while playing with a phone and driving at the same time.

Good morning, on a beautiful Tuesday, June 16th, 2026. Rainy season is here. Thunderstorms today. It will get to 93 degrees. Stay out of the afternoon sun. Why are some people so neglectful, with regard to leaving children and animals in a car in temperatures like we have? If it gets to 93 degrees outside, it gets well over 110 degrees in a baking car or van or SUV. This kills. Let me say it again, this kills. It kills people, animals, and most living things. And it doesn’t take days, it JUST takes an hour or so before children will blackout from the heat. Everyone, slow down. The new fast is slow. If one needs to do things fast and children or animals slow them down in this heat, find someone to watch them or leave them home. A car is certainly not a safe place to leave any living things in a hot sun and heating car. And please, all of us, watch for that child or animal left in a closed car alone and break those windows, get those living out, while they are still alive. Call the police. There can be no slack given to anyone who can do this kind of abuse. Let’s all protect the one who can’t protect themselves. Let’s all have a wonderful day in sunny S.Florida.

Good morning, on the 12th of June, 2026. It’s Friday. The work week ends today, at about 6 p.m . Yes, I know, it’s been a long week. I agree, it has. But it’s time to play and rest. We have a full weekend to do it in. Remember when we were kids? When school was over on Friday, we ran home and played all weekend and finished our homework Sunday night. I did it the other way. I ran home and did my homework Friday, right after school. This way nothing but nothing could stop me from playing till school rolled around on Monday morning. That was my crash and burn time. But it’s summer now. No homework, just play, when I was a kid. I never went to camp. Maybe 3 times, I went during my whole childhood. And that was day camp. Never liked it anyway. I was always out of the cliques. I was always the outsider. It hurt but that’s the way it always was for me. Everyone enjoy this weekend. We all deserve a little R+R.

Good morning, on the 11th of June, 2026, Thursday. It’s going to be a nice day. I want to thank all my readers for all their comments on my little writes. Whether you realize it or not, it’s hard to do this every day. Coming up with ideas and thoughts that people won’t crucify me for, after reading me, is not easy. I fell last week. And hurt myself pretty badly. I’m still in pain today. I woke up this morning with tingling in one of my hands. Like the hand fell asleep. I’m hoping it’s just that I slept on it wrong last night. I just don’t want another issue on my plate because I’m getting older. Whoever came up with the saying, the golden years, when they talk about age. My golden years has passed me by. Now I’m in the old years. LOL. Things don’t heal quite as fast. My skin is getting thinner. I hurt for no apparent reason. I used to be that horse. I can and did anything and just shook off any hurt. Now these hurts linger on and stay with me days and sometimes much longer. Some just stay. People who have a great constitution, I give so much respect to. This morning is not my best morning. I’m sorry. May this day find happiness for all of us.

Good morning, on the 10th of June, 2026, Wednesday. It’s Hump Day. 50% of this week has passed. The shorter part of the week is in front of us. Why is it that when we travel somewhere, the trip going seems always longer than the trip back? I have never figured that out. I understand why time slows down when you’re sad and seems to go by so much faster when you’re happy. We all learned that lesson in school. When I enjoyed my class, time flew by. When I hated the lesson, I watched the clock above the blackboard that seemed to move at a snail’s pace. There is a gift in that perception from above. What it is, I do not know. Maybe one day, I’ll learn what that gift is. For now, I live with the knowledge that if I’m happy, time flies by and if I’m not, time takes forever to pass. Everyone have a happy day. Time will go by faster, even though it doesn’t. Lol!!! Happy is a wonderful state of mind.

Good morning on the 9th of June, 2026. It’s Tuesday, all day. The weather is getting warmer. A high of 89 degrees today. And that’s with some clouds. It’s getting warmer. Please don’t leave pets in the car in this heat. Please don’t leave children in the car when parked. Even if the car is running. It’s not safe. It’s just plain dangerous. Pools, make sure they are kept away from young children. Have a fence around them. Make sure they are closed and locked. Every year some very sad accidents happen, that are preventable and life-changing. The new fast is slow. Everyone slow down. Always check your back seat in your car before getting out. We all have so much on our minds these days. We sometimes forget the most important things in our lives. There can be no mistakes in this heat. No living thing can be left in a car in this heat for any length of time. I pray, this year, no one but no one gets left behind in the back seat of a car or unattended by a pool.

Good morning!!! It’s Monday, the 8th of June, 2026. The reason I always write the date on all my posts is because all my retired friends forget what today is. All days seem the same when one is retired. It’s important to know what day it is because if you try to reach any government office on the weekend, when you think it’s a weekday, you won’t. And that is frustrating. These are just some of the facts of life while contending with retired life. Well, today is the first day of the work week. Schools are closed for a few months now. It’s summer vacation. Sleepaway Camps are beginning soon. Kids are beginning to be their robustious selves. And I guess, we love them for that too. Everyone have a most rewarding day today. I’m tired. But I will catch up on all things Monday real soon. Or else all things Monday will become part of all things Tuesday. That will make me pull out all my hair on Wednesday. Talk about a crazy week this is going to be. Love to all. May today be the beginning of a wonderful week for all of us.
