Good morning on the 7th of Sept., 2026, Monday. I know today is a ready, set, and go kind of day. But it doesn’t have to be. Monday need not be a zero to sixty in under 10 seconds kind of day. Take a big breath. Know the new fast is slow, slow down. So many things to accomplish on a Monday morning. Taking the kids to childcare and school, maybe get gas, remembering where to begin at work from last Friday, and so many other tasks that need to be attended to this morning. So again, breathe. We get through every Monday, and we will get through this one too. I remember my Mondays as a kid. I was the goody two shoes. I packed my school stuff the night before. All homework was in the looseleaf. I tried to keep the paper crisp and clean. I am a lefty, that was quite difficult because of how my hand ran over the pen and pencil while writing. It always smeared the paper. Books were so heavy. Walking to school was no easy task. I was already tired by the time I got to homeroom. And if it was a winter’s day, my coat, hat, gloves, and scarf created a mess in my locker before I hit the first class, ah those were the days. Everyone have an easy day. Drive carefully. Get the makeup on before you get behind the wheel. If your car has hands-free cell phone systems in it, USE IT !!!!

Sunday, sweet Sunday, and so much to do. It’s the 6th of Sept., 2026. We are in a continuous weather cycle today, in our Paradise, mid-70’s to 90 and rain. When I was a kid of 8 or so, Sunday was the day we visited my dad’s parents. It wasn’t an easy day. My mom never wanted to go. I guess my mom didn’t get along with them. I understand that feeling when I hit my twenties and married myself. We would get up in the morning, get dressed all 5 of us, and we would pile in the car and drive 45 min. to their home and spend the afternoon with them. Grandpa would play 2 guitars { a Russian folk song }, every Sunday for us. It’s the only song I think he knew. It was beautiful. He played the mandolin. Then he would give my sisters and me a silver dollar each. After that, we went downstairs and watched TV in the dark till my parents were done with their visit. Once in a while, I was given a buck to go to the convenience store and buy something. I don’t remember what. Then there was the Blue Law. And only that kind of store was open. The Blue Law stated most stores had to be closed on Sundays. Oh, I would be remiss if I didn’t say my grandparents had a little dog named Tex, he was an insistent barker and not really friendly. He always sounded hoarse when he barked because he barked so much. That was a lot of my Sundays when I was a kid. Boring to say the least. Hard on my sisters and me because of the arguments we sat through in the car. My parents argued because Mom didn’t want to go every Sunday there. Everyone have a wonderful Sunday. Enjoy family. Enjoy friends. It’s Sunday.

Good morning, it’s the 5th of Sept., 2026, Saturday. Let’s all have a wonderful day today. This morning, I start by teaching triplets the skill of bicycle riding. This is the second set of triplets I’ve taught in my career. So far, all is going great. They are truly learning and I might add, they are all having a lot of fun. Then come 9 a.m. my doors open to all my guests. We will be repairing electric bikes (motor bikes), regular bike. And all manner of wheel transports but not gas vehicles. Hopefully, today is a wonderful day to ride a bike. We know it will rain and we know warm is here for now. There will be some clear parts of the day, enjoy them. It’s Labor Day weekend, enjoy. I will be working all weekend and Monday.

Good morning on Friday, the 4th of September, 2026. Again, the weather is cooling off. Only a high of 90 degrees. Sweet!!! Very low possibility of rain today. Please remember the car gets to well over 110 degrees in our heat today. Leave nothing in it while parked, please. Time to tidy up loose ends for the work week. A wonderful, beautiful weekend is ahead of us. I know my weekend is filled with work and a little play. That sounds good to me. I hope we all have a wonderful weekend. Friday will come and go. Make it a kind and gentle day for yourself. You deserve that. Everyone have a wonderful day. The 3 don’ts— don’t drink and drive. Don’t sit on your phone and drive. And last but not least, don’t leave anything in your car during the day; it will die.

Good morning, on the 3rd of September, 2026, Thursday. Well, it’s cooling off. Only 90 degrees in paradise today. Sweet!!!! I guess we will have some rain. That cools everything off. Remember when weather came on the radio or T.V.? Not on the iPhone or Alexa, or Siri. Now ask your phone and weather just comes to you. I believed there was a hurricane coming to Northern Florida, but I was wrong. It hit Texas. I hope the people are all OK there. Are we using alarm clocks anymore? Or is it just the phone used to wake one up now? I use my brain. I haven’t used any alarm instrument to get up in over 65 years. When my body says sleep, I go to sleep. I try not to fight that. And when my body says get up, I do that also. So far it has always worked well for me. I do remember when others would hit the snooze button 10 times because they missed that big button 9 times first, LOL. Everyone have a wonderful day. It’s your time to laugh, have fun, and love those you want to love.

Good morning, it’s the 2nd of Sept., 2026, Wednesday. It’s Hump Day once again. I can see the weekend from here. What’s on your agenda for today? Whatever it is, do it well and with a smile on your face. Not all things are easy. And why should they? Life is hard. Living is hard. But there can be so much joy within the difficulties of life. We all can find them. Please look for them. Look under the blanket. Look under the bed. Look behind the door. There is happiness all around you. Your friends, Mother Nature, family, children, parents, and so much more. It’s all our jobs to find happiness within our lives. We all deserve happiness. Again, this may not be easy to find. But it’s worth the looking. Everyone has a good day at work and finds happiness to share with others today. Pepper the hard with the sweet, and the world will be yours today.

Good morning on the 1st of Sept., 2026. It’s Tuesday. To all who have birthdays today, Happy Birthday. May this day bring happiness to all of you. Please everyone, if you have an electric bike, please make sure the bike is safe. Squeeze the brakes and make sure both brakes stop the bike. Many lives depend on this. The new fast is slow. So please drive slowly through school crossings. Even though electric bikes speed through school traffic zones. They travel faster than our cars. Is that crazy, yes. Please educate all who ride these motorbikes, the rules of the road. I know we all believe our children understand safety. Sadly, they DON’T. The hospital emergency rooms are filled with electric bike accidents, sadly. Everyone please, watch the road. Leave nothing in a hot car. Everyone take a breath and slow down. You will get where you are going faster and safer that way.

Good morning on the last day of August. September begins tomorrow. Today is the 31st of August, 2026, Monday. Rain and heat today in Paradise. Could hit 93 today. Stay hydrated, please. Leave nothing in the car because it will burn up. Sunscreen is a must or stay inside. Thank G d for Mr. Carrier, for his invention of air conditioning. Without A/C, our paradise would still be near desolate. And of course, Mr. Flagler for the railroad. Without a rail system, no one would be here. Navigational roads came later with the advent of autos. These were the building blocks of a state, and may I even say a country. Electric bikes are all over the place. Children are riding them at maximum speed always. Dangerous, without question. Parents, please check your kids’ machines and make sure their brakes work. So many don’t. I know this firsthand. Sneakers are not brakes. We are all aware the motors on these electric machines are NOT waterproof. Enough water on and in them will stop them from working. Everyone have a safe and loving day. Slow down, we move too fast, we have to make our morning last.

Sunday, sweet Sunday, and so much to do. It’s the 30th of August, 2026. September begins on Tuesday. August was a long month. It didn’t fly away. It stayed. I’m still teaching children and adults the skill of bicycle riding. Falling, what’s that? No one falls when I teach them. Today could be a “To Do” list day. Football pre-season has begun. Let’s talk about electric bikes, which are motorcycles. They are a lot of fun. But people are buying bigger, heavier, and faster ones all the time. They are bringing them into bike shops to fix flats and such. They weigh nearly and over 100 lbs a piece. Motorcycle shops will not work on them. It seems bike shops are getting them to fix. Our equipment does not have the ability to hang a 120 lbs motorcycle on it safely. Be careful. Buy smaller ones. When they get so big, they get very expensive to fix, even a flat. We do them all the time. But guests call them bicycles, and we all know they are not. Next, please know these electric bicycles are not waterproof. They do not like water. They do not like rain. Get enough rain on the motor or electrical system, and they will cease to work. At that point, if they don’t short out, they need to dry out. Or you will lose them forever. Everyone enjoy a beautiful Sunday. Be happy, have fun, stay safe, and laugh a little. We at Frenchies Bicycle will be servicing all manner of bikes and electric bikes from 11 to 5 today.
