It’s official!! For the first time ever, NSBL will be traveling to Dunkin Donuts Park, home of the Yard Goats, for a mid summer classic against Connecticut Twilight League in an All Star Game ⚾️ 🚨

After 9 weeks of play are complete, Bridgeport Vipers Baseball stay a top our weekly standings 🐍

Recap:

Bridgeport Vipers Baseball traveled down to Orange to take on the Owls in a battle of 2 high powered offense. Vipers took game 1 by the score of 9-5 with Ryan Moran leading the offense hitting 2 homeruns with 4 RBIs. Game 2 was the opposite and came down to their wire when 👑 Isaiah hit a walk off single to finish off the Vipers sweep and clinch first place for another week.

Next we head up north to New Britain where the New Britain Lightning⚡️ hosted Milford Mariners at Stanley Quarter. Game 1 was all Lightning with Luis Rodriguez going 2-3 with a HR and 3 RBIs to lead the way. Game 2 was also the opposite, it was Mariners until the 7th inning with the Lightning down to their final out, Tyler Gibbs hit a 2 run homer to bring them within 1 and eventually Mikey Lodge hit a no doubter into left field to give the Lightning the lead late and eventually closed it out in the bottom half.

Our next game brings up to Bridgeport where the BPT Flyers Baseball Club took on the Bristol Watchmen. Game 1 belong to the Flyers In a close contest 2-0 with stellar pitching from Brody throwing 6 innings of shutout ball. Game 2 belong to the Bristol Watchmen winning by the score of 3-2 .

Our last matchup brings us to Guilford when it was all New Haven Rookies in both beating the CT TIGERS Baseball the scores of 5-0 with a shutout by ･ﾟ 🎀 ❤️𝟣𝟫𝟧𝟤❤️ 🎀 ﾟ･ and 17-0 with hitting contributions from everybody in the lineup to sweep the day.

After 7 weeks of play, we have another new number 1 team in the after sweeping 2 from Bristol Watchmen up north yesterday!

Recap:

and split their matchup yesterday down in Guilford with Lightning winning game 1 2-1 behind a strong pitching performance from Chris Gibbs (.12) but the Rookies bounce back with another strong pitching performance from Casey Krenicki () winning 4-0 with a complete game shutout in game 2.

Down in Bridgeport, took care of business sweeping the Orange Owls 7-1 in game 1 and game 2 5-4 in a closer contest. Flyers move to 2nd in the standings behind their crosstown rivals after a strong week.

Our last matchup brings us down to Milford, where the .mariners swept . Game 1 went down to the wire until JT Lanese stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the 7th and ripped a double to win the game 3-2 in walk off fashion. Game 2 was 11-1.

After 5 weeks of play Orange Owls hold on to the top spot another week after splitting their matchup to the Lightning. Currently 1 game or less separates the 6 seed to the 1 seed, things are heating up!! 🥵

Recap:

traveled up to Bridgeport to play the with both teams splitting the day, Flyers won game 1 4-2 and Rookies bounce back and win game 2 2-1

and .mariners split their matchup with Vipers winning game 1 6-4 and Mariners bouncing back at home winning 11-1 F6

Orange Owls welcomed to Orange yesterday and they also split their matchup with New Britain winning game 1 3-2 and Owls bouncing back at home to win game 2 7-2

traveled up north to Bristol to take on Bristol Watchmen () which turned out to be a thriller going 12 innings, Tigers put up an 8 spot in the 12th to seal the victory. Game 2 postponed.

Orange Owls flew high over with scores of 6-4 and 12-1 F5.

Bristol Watchmen and split, with Bristol winning 8-4 and New Britain rebounding 13-0.
