And just like that the 2026 season comes to a close with Milford Mariners taking home the championship winning by a score of 14-4 F7. Milford jumped out early to a 6-0 in the 1st behind 5 straight hits with 1 out including a 3 run homerun by starting pitcher Mike Aquilino. Owls would battle back eventually making the score 6-4 in the top of the 7 but Milford would put the game away in the bottom half scoring 8 runs. Milford totaled 15 hits on the day. Big Days from Chris Flynn , Brian Gargulo and JT Lanese as well. Congratulations to the Milford Mariners (Milford Mariners) it is their 4th title in team history and first since 2020.

Semifinals are set!!

Bridgeport Vipers Baseball and Milford Mariners battle at Beardsley Park in Bridgeport CT. Vipers looking for their first championship game appearance since winning it all in 2022. Mariners looking for their team’s 6th Championship Game appearance, teams last championship was 2020.

BPT Flyers Baseball Club and Orange Owls battle down at Seaside Diamond 1 this weekend. Flyers are looking for their 3rd straight Championship and looking for their 5th straight championship game appearance (7th overall). Owls looking for their 2nd Championship game appearance, first since 2018.

Who will meet next week at Wh**ey Piurek Baseball Field at West Haven High School for the championship? ⚾️ 🏆

Quarterfinals are in the books!! 2 upsets in a wild first round.

Recap:

Bridgeport Vipers Baseball defeated CT TIGERS Baseball by the score of 8-1 in a dominating performance by Vipers 2 pitchers.

BPT Flyers Baseball Club defeated Bristol Watchmen by the score of 12-5 in which was a close contest until 2nd half of the game where the Flyers put the foot to the peddle and took off.

In our first upset, the Orange Owls were down 10-3 in the 7th with 2 outs and put up 9 runs in the inning to take a 12-10 lead in an impressive stretch of hitting with 2 outs. The Owls would go on to beat New Haven Rookies by the final of 13-10. Tommy Roy of the Owls final run in NSBL continues into the semifinals!

Our second upset takes us to New Britain where the Milford Mariners took down New Britain Lightning⚡️ by the score of 6-2. Timely hitting by the Mariners was the key to this game.

Due to a statistical oversight by the league board, it’s only right that we recognize both Sal and Jason as co-batting champs. Sal had .464 avg with 26 hits and Jason .459 avg with 28 hits. Both had amazing seasons and deserve acknowledgement. Apologies for not getting this one right the first time. Congrats to both on a great regular season.

Our 2026 regular season has come to an end, with a little help from the Bridgeport Flyers, the Bridgeport Vipers Baseball have claimed the 2026 regular season title and #1 overall seed heading into the playoffs. The Vipers swept CT TIGERS Baseball by the scores of 10-3 and 8-1 down in Clinton CT yesterday. Congrats to the Bridgeport Vipers .

Recap:

New Haven Rookies swept the Orange Owls by the scores of 3-2 on a walk off single from Nick Gambardella and won game 2 6-2. Securing the number 3 seed and Owls will take the 6 seed heading into the postseason.

Our second matchup takes us down to Bridgeport, where the New Britain Lightning⚡️ took on the host BPT Flyers Baseball Club. The day belonged to the defending champs sweeping New Britain by the scores of 10-0 in F6 and 10-2. Flyers claimed the 2nd seed while the Lightning fell to the 4th seed.

Our final matchup takes us down to Milford CT, where the Milford Mariners hosted the Bristol Watchmen. Milford won game 1 8-1 , Milford’s pitching dominated the day. Bristol Watchmen forfeited game 2. Milford will finish with the 5th seed and Bristol the 7th seed heading into the postseason.

Thank You to everyone for exciting 2026 regular season, don’t miss out on these playoffs, it’s sure to be a chaotic one!
