The A.S.H.R.A.M. Center Studio for Yoga and other classes. Available to rent by the hour. 700 sq.ft. hardwood floor studio. Heated and AC, has 55" video screen for DVD movies.

Handicap accessible entrance and bathroom. Small parking lot. More parking available on the street. Currently offering yoga classes. Meditation group coming soon. Open for rental by the hour for dance practice and similar. People are encouraged to leave shoes at the entrance.

Turmeric carrot soup is a delicious and nutritious dish that can help reduce inflammation due to the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric. Here's a simple recipe for turmeric carrot soup:

Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- 4 cups chopped carrots
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish

Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the garlic, ginger, turmeric, cumin, coriander, and cayenne pepper. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
3. Add the chopped carrots and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer and cook until the carrots are tender, about 20-25 minutes.
4. Use an immersion blender to blend the soup until smooth. Alternatively, transfer the soup to a blender in batches and blend until smooth.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve the soup hot, garnished with fresh cilantro or parsley.

Great meditation group tonight! The discussion that followed was engaging, uplifting, enlightening, peace producing! I would like to invite those who were there, to share their aha moments! thank you for bringing your brilliancy to the table, turning "scared" into "sacred", To focus on Love, rather than fear, to move us towards an attitude of curiosity, openness and eagerness, away from anger, rejection and reaction. A miracle is in fact a way to "see" something with different eyes! We realized that transparency can start to appear in a different form than we'd expected; that the pendulum needs to swing in the opposite direction over and over before it eventually finds its balance; that an infected wound needs to expel the pus, before it can really heal; that it's only when we bring the darkness into the light, we can finally, honestly see it and deal with it. What an exciting and challenging time we're approaching! Full of possibilities! when the Peace we want to see in the world comes from within us, we become a beacon of light
for others!

A friend of mine asked me to pray for her. I can do that and,
for those who want to be more aware:
WE ALL HAVE THE POWER TO HEAL OURSELVES!.
For anyone else who needs Do-It-Your-self instructions:
Please take a deep breath envisioning prayer energy coming out of your screen (or whatever beautiful sight is in front of you) and getting into your lungs, heart (physical and emotional) and any other part of your body that is hurting or is less than perfect; spreading throughout your body, like electricity in a light bulb. Pump it in until you feel full, complete and radiant. With each breath, allow your body to realign, your heart to expand, your comfort zone to stretch. The next time you breathe out, allow this energy to go out of your pores to spread like a lighthouse thru your life : your finances, your relationships, your career, your creativity. Please do all this with a sense of joy, happiness and gratitude. If other feelings come up, wrap them with this energy like you would wrap a crying baby into a blanket and into your arms. Love and Comfort them! let the healing energy feed your own Love (you do have the power! Really!)
As you nurture yourself (aka filling up your energy bank account ;-) You can then send energy to others very easily because you have plenty and you can be generous with it. when you can learn to tap into the Source, you'll always have an endless amount of well-being at your disposal!
