A big congratulations to the Lewis County Trap Team on a good week of SCTP State Championships! Anna & Michael started off Monday with sporting clays, followed by Anna shooting s***t and doubles s***t the next two days. The rest of the team showed up on Thursday and Friday with trap, and and on Saturday five shooters ended with doubles and handicap trap. That’s a lot of shooting for one week in the heat and temps! We can’t let the week go without acknowledging our Seniors: Lane Gobbell, Spencer Clark and Xavier Shook. These guys started shooting in intermediate and middle school and keeping practicing and shooting through their senior year. We will sure miss them! To our first year shooters, we hope you enjoyed it and learned a lot about shooting and discipline. Now congratulations to Gracie Staggs. She tied for second in IE ladies division for Doubles Trap, and due to the tie breaker rules, she ended with 3rd place! Way to go Gracie!

The Lewis County Trap team worked hard at the 2026 SCTP Regions in S***t, Sporting, and Trap. We had several new shooters that turned out great scores. We had some personal best scores today for Trap as well. Our Varsity squad persevered through pouring rain for their first half and then scorching heat for the last of Trap singles. Catch the team at State week that starts June 22nd. Thanks to everyone for the continued support. 🖤💛🖤💛
