Hi Everyone! I wanted to take a minute to clear up a rumor I’ve heard several times over the last week or so.

We, the CMP, are not moving the Bianchi Cup from Green Valley any time in the foreseeable future.

I’ll say it again… we the CMP, ARE NOT moving the Bianchi Cup any time in the foreseeable future. Period.

If you hear someone say different, please ask them to email me at [email protected].

The only “moving” conversation that was ever had was to move the dates so more juniors could shoot. That proved to be disruptive to the other matches and clubs, so it was decided not to do that.
We are leaning towards doing a Junior Cup later in the summer…maybe. If the participation numbers make sense. If you hear different about this, please ask that person to email me at [email protected].

This will be a CMP sanctioned match
Pre-registration will open 1 March 2024 at www.thecardinalcenter.com
Registration will be open at 9:00am on 6 July
Fees:
3600 – $175
2700(only) - $155
Junior - $50 (2700 or 3600)
Senior & Grand Senior - $100 (2700 or 3600)
Individual 900s - $45
EICs – (.22, Service Revolver, Service Pistol) $20
Free Pistol - $20
Open Practice - $10
Shooter’s Social - $15 (this ticket gets you one free drink and light appetizers buffet)
* Please be courteous to your fellow competitors as you make your way through the buffet, there will be a full dinner menu available for purchase*
Times:
Open practice – 6 July 12 – 4, 7 July 10 – 4
Free Pistol – 7 July start time 10am22 900 – 1st relay is 8:00am 8 July, 2nd relay is 10:30am22 EIC will be immediately following 2nd relay 22 Team will be immediately following the .22 EIC
CF & .45 900s – 1st relay is 8:00am 9 July. 1st relay will shoot both the CF and .45 900s
2nd relay will begin at 12:30pm and shoot both CF and .45 900s
Service Pistol 900 – 1st relay is 8:00am 10 July, 2nd relay is 10:30am
Service Pistol & Service Revolver EICs – 1st relay will immediately follow completion of the 2nd relay of Service Pistol 900, but no earlier than 12:00. We will run two courses of fire to accommodate anyone that needs to swap guns.
If there are enough teams for Service Pistol, we will start that immediately following the Service Pistol and Revolver matches.

Food – Lunch will start at 12pm each match day. Please pre-register for the match so we can get an accurate food count. Shooter’s Social/Awards – 6pm on 5 July. You do not need a ticket to attend but you do need one for any free food/drinks or raffles/drawings.

We had several brave souls come out to test themselves against one of the hardest places to shoot that I’ve ever had the pleasure to attend. Cardinal will test your ego, your resolve and definitely your process. Thanks to everyone that came out, but especially to Serena Juchnowski and her parents! It was a rough day to be a first timer, but they did great! Come out for our next match, MAYDAY!, on May 11th. We will have a full 2700, then EICs if there are enough non-distinguished to make points. Start time is 9:00am.

Another great training opportunity coming to The Cardinal Pistol Range!!

Cyrena / Wellington Training and the A Girl & A Gun, Obetz, OH Chapter are proud to be hosting Tatiana Whitlock
Tatiana Whitlock – Training in Context for the fourth year in a row. Three separate training opportunities will be offered September 21st - 22nd including "Take a Seat", "S**t Happens" and "Handgun Accuracy".

Tatiana Whitlock is a fi****ms instructor, hunter, and outdoors enthusiast residing in the majestic state of Maine. Tatiana works with men, women & youth to establish a real-world foundation of firearm skills, safety, and situational awareness. A lifelong interest in martial arts resulted in the inevitable introduction to fi****ms as a means of self and home protection. As a mother of three, Tatiana takes the safety of her family seriously and knows that in a worst-case scenario the first responder on the scene is her. The training that she offers brings participants mindset out of the square range and into the context of daily life.

Tatiana is an NRA BPI, RSO and Refuse to Be a Victim instructor as well as a USCCA certified instructor and USCCA certified RSO. She is a featured host & instructor on Trigger Time TV airing on the Pursuits Channel and co-host of the live radio show and podcast, Responsibly Armed Radio.

She is the Director of Training at Howell’s Indoor Range and Shooting Academy in Gray, Maine and the Director of Training for the national women shooting league, A Girl and A Gun.
