Gateway Challenge Sprint Triathlon

All good things come to an end, but that sometimes leads to even greater things. That's the case with our triathlon. While the triathlon may no longer be held, the funds the event has raised will help accomplish great things for Gateway Park. Here is former race director Rob Rotter presenting Jeff Meier, of the Gateway Improvement Group, with a check in the amount of $10,000! A big "THANK YOU!" goes out to the people who volunteered and participated in the greatest little sprint triathlon around. For three years the triathlon helped promote the area to new and seasoned triathletes.

The water is clean and 76°, which means wetsuits are optional this Saturday! The Iowa County Dive Team checked the swim route for hazards and things are good to go. SEE YOU SATURDAY!!
