Congratulations to #34 Cody Rodgers on being selected to the 2026 NEMO Pressbox Stars Baseball Team!

This prestigious team was selected by a vote of NEMO Pressbox coaches from across Northeast Missouri and recognizes some of the top baseball players in the region.

Cody had an outstanding season for the Marceline Tigers and continues to represent our program, school, and community with pride both on and off the field.

We are proud to see his hard work, dedication, and success recognized among the area’s best players.

This is a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and commitment each of these players put into the season. These athletes represented Marceline Baseball and the black and gold with pride all year long.

Congratulations Jase on a great season.

The GRM Networks GRC Boys Baseball Player of the Week is Jase Freeman of the Marceline Tigers. Jase pitched 5.2 innings in District win over Slater, striking out 9 and allowing only 2 earned runs. Against Brookfield, Jase was 3 for 3 at the plate with 1 home run, 4 RBIs, and 2 runs. Congratulations to Jase.

The Regional Missouri Bank GRC Team of the Week is the Marceline Tigers Baseball Team. Marceline clinched the outright GRC Championship on Monday with a 13-3 win over rival Brookfield. It is Marceline’s first GRC Baseball Championship. They followed that up with a 9-2 win over Slater in the first round of Districts. Congratulations to Marceline.

Our season comes to an end with a 4-1 loss in the District Semifinals.

While this wasn’t the ending we set out for, there is still so much to be proud of with this group. These players competed, battled, and represented Marceline Baseball the right way all season long.

We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who supported us throughout the year — the Marceline Booster Club, our amazing parent group that constantly supported and fed our players, our administration, school staff, and bus drivers, Sports Zone, Big Erv and Jeff on 99.1 for the coverage, Nemo Pressbox and the GRC Media page, Hawk and City works and field crew Assistant Coach Canaan Wright, and everyone else who helped support our team throughout the season. We apologize if we missed anyone because so many people played a role in helping make this season special.

Thank you to the Marceline community for the support, energy, and belief in our program throughout the spring.

Our Spring Baseball Banquet will be held June 7 at 6:00 PM.
