August 2026 Salmon Trip.
Just returned home from 10 days of outstanding Salmon Fishing out of Olcott, New York. This was my 9th year Fishing here and it was the best season yet! While the fish ran smaller this season the numbers definitely made up for it. I had many 50-100 bite days! All of the Salmon gear is put away and already looking forward to next year!

7/24- I picked up right where I left off from the morning trip. The C**n family were first time walleye fishermen and made quick work on their limit. I think they're hooked!

7/24- Morning trip was fantastic with the Elkins family. The girls out fished the boys! Heading back out now with the C**n family for round 2, stay tuned.

7/26- What an incredible week of Salmon Fishing on Lake Ontario. It was nonstop action everyday, I really need to get better at taking more photos!
I still have a couple dates open for the August trip.

7/16/26 - The biggest king of the season hit the deck, coming in at just under 23 #. Started the morning off with my Fishhawk not reading in ripping currents when I needed it the most. I had to pull out the old school tactics from way back in the days before all the fancy technology. We still put together a great box of fish and was back in time for lunch.

7/15/26/ - Nice mixed box of Kings, Steelhead and Coho in the Canadian wildfire smoke on Lake Ontario!

6/14/26- Thomas Surface group Left Mazuriks @ 9:00 and set out on a 3 hour tour before the storms rolled in. We got our limit of walleye after sorting through a ton of sheephead, cat fish and short walleye.

5/9/26 Another great day of salmon fishing on Lake Ontario with new customers Joe and Mackezie. They Derby fished all morning sorting through dozens of fish and put a nice limit together to take home.

5/8/28 Derby fishing today with Daniel Owens and his daughter's. We left the dock at 10 got right into a fire drill and had 9 in the box in under an hour. We kept spots open for a Derby Fish, released around a dozen Fish then headed in for lunch. These girls know how to fight Fish, flawless on the rods!

5/7/26- Yet another amazing day on Lake Ontario! I left this AM on a solo trip to try some Brown Trout fishing. I Switched out to light tackle hit the shallows and wasn't long before the 1st board went flying back, as the fish came to the back of the boat I was surprised to see that it wasn't a Bown but a nice king! I made a quick limit on Kings then headed to another area to look for Bowns, I finally dialed them and caught and released 6 nice one's. Capt Daniel Owens gave me and said he was in town, I ran in and picked him up. He caught 3 nice Coho, 2 Lakers and was back at the dock in about an hour...
