We were honored to win the Women’s J24 Female National title. We will treasure this gorgeous trophy for one year! Still missing being with our J24 friends and cannot wait to do it again!

Day two of J24 Nationals! Four long races. So grateful to get to do what we love, in Maine, the place that we adore, with these incredible humans! Both the people we race with and race against! We are the luckiest!

What a brilliant day of racing for our team. Although we only had two races, our first race we were in the top ten, but sneezed and ended up in 19th. Very tight racing! This was followed two races that were abandoned. One of which we were in first or a close second… (painful!) in the second we were also in the top third of the fleet. In the second official race of the day we were thrilled with a tenth after fighting back from being deep in the pack. Thrilling day on the water!

Practice day before the J24 Nationals in Portland, Maine! Amazing to have such a high caliber event in our home waters! Competition starts tomorrow!

As we prepare for two intense weekends ahead, first the J24 Nationals and then The Lobster Bowl Regatta in the Etchells , it was fun to finish with a third for the night!

While we are wrapping up the upcoming J24 Nationals in Portland, one of our teammates, Hillary Keimig will be beginning racing in Newport in the inaugural women’s event in IC37s at The New York Yacht Club. The best of the best will be there from around the world and we are thrilled that Hillary will be on Vigilant. Proud of you Hillary Keimig!

Waiting for breeze to fill in for the one-day Sail Maine Festival and Regatta. Such a special community day! Wish us luck. Almost as many Etchells this year here as we had at North Americans!

Busy weekend launching two boats and helping many others this weekend. Our J24 Wait For It… and our Etchells Etch-A-Sketchell are both in the water for the summer, masts up and rigged. Nice view of Portland when towed from to in Falmouth. Finally some warm weather up here in Maine! Lovely! Huge thanks to all who helped organize this launch, especially our very own rock star, president of the Etchells fleet, Jessica Harris!
