“Money” Mat Williamson captures the win after starting 12th at Michaels Mercer Raceway for the Rick and Bob Ryder Memorial Race on Thursday night, August 13th. Erick Rudolph finishes second ahead of Rex King, Jr in third. Mat has been the winner of the Ryder Memorial now twice out of the four years that the event has been held.

Attention All BRP Modified Tour members, drivers and fans. Stateline Speedway just sent us this message:

Pam - I just spoke with Rich Farmer @ All Stars and given the significant rain in the forecast, we mutually agreed to cancel this weekend. With so many drivers and fans coming from out of town, it would not be a successful weekend given the ominous forecast.

So our race for Saturday has been cancelled! See everyone next Thursday at Michaels Mercer Raceway for the running of the Rick and Bob Ryder Memorial Event.

We want to send our deepest sympathies to Tim and Jo Anne Engles on the passing of Tim’s Mom, Betty Morrison. She was known as Grandma Betty and could always be found in the grandstand’s rooting on Tim’s race cars. Whether is was a Sprint Car, Dirt Modified, E-Mod, Stock Car or Wingless Sprint Car that Tim owned Betty would be there in the grandstandscheering away. She was a very special lady and everyone who knew her, loved her. Our condolences go out to Tim, Jo Anne, and Betty’s entire family. God bless you all. 🙏🙏

Congratulations to Rex King, Jr. on winning the Competition Carburetion Fastest Lap Award on Saturday night, Bob and Ann Oliver, owners of Competion Carburetion awarded $150 to Rex King, Jr. for running the fastest lap of the race. The BRP Modified Tour appreciates the support and kindness of Bob and Ann! Congratulations Rex! 🏁🏁
