Our trained crews are conducting a prescribed burn today at Gloster Bend Recreation Area to help reduce the risk of wildfires, restore native landscapes and improve wildlife habitat. Crews are carefully monitoring the burn, which is expected to last most of the day. Parts of the park remain open, but visitors should be aware of smoke in the area.
