Dreams and Doers, which one are you? I just listen to Carlos Machado on dreamers and doers, he got me thinking about my dreams and what I was willing to do to achieve my dreams. I have made my wife a karate widow at times in our lives, not out of malice, for I do love this woman. She has given nothing but support through these 40 plus years that I have been training in Karate, so yes, I am a doer. So now at almost 65 years old I have a dream to become a UFAF BJJ Black Belt , now I must become a doer again, and so this dream, by doing will become a reality. So to all of you, keep Dreaming and keep Doing, you will succeed.

Belt night for my students , it's very big for them, they're excited to be promoted, they can't wait to wear their new belt. But let's remember, it's about time spent training, time spent studying new techniques, and devotion to the Art. This is a benchmark for them and me, I acknowledge the work they have put in and in return they receive this award for that work

Last night while I was laying in my bed trying to go to sleep, I was a little restless, probably moving around in the bed, I was trying not to bother my wife. All of the sudden she says, are you thinking about Martial arts stuff? A little stunned, I said well yes I am, she said, I know you better than you know yourself. Its amazing that I can't stop thinking about teaching, about a new BJJ technique I want to try, its always about the Arts, and yes I go to sleep with the Arts in my head.
