Tucson Quarter Midget Association (TQMA) Youth Racing Sport that involves the entire family! Quarter Midget Racing is for kids ages 5+. Get your start at one of our Arrive-&-Drives. See ya there!!

Check our schedule and website for details. In Quarter Midget Racing, the kids go to Rookie School right from the beginning. Here they are taught the basics; flags, lineup, driving skills, etc. Safety is of utmost importance because we are dealing with our kids! Helmets up to the standards of the big guys, arm restraints, seat belt harness systems, driving gloves,and racing jackets or racing suits

are always MANDATORY. Yes, Quarter Midget Racing is safe! Families can choose to participate on a local, regional or national level, the choice is theirs. The benefits of Quarter Midget Racing is virtually immeasurable. Few other sports permit all members of the family to participate as much. In addition to preparing and maintaining the race car, Moms and Dads help to run the races and the clubs. The kids learn sportsmanship and a genuine respect for the rights of other drivers. It develops coordination, a sense of timing and the ability to plan ahead. Once the green flag has dropped, they are on their own. Kids learn to play hard and also learn that rules must be observed. Rule infractions result in penalties or disqualification. The program helps the drivers gain self reliance, confidence and self-esteem while learning respect for themselves and others. It is a life teaching experience! Come enjoy some exciting racing. It's always free admission.

Thinking about joining our 2026-27 race season? Drivers ages 5-16 are welcome! If you have never driven a Quarter Midget before please come check out one of our arrive and drive events! Our social media and website will provide updated arrive and drive events once scheduled (closer to the start of the season in October). Arrive and Drive events require registration here: https://tucsonquartermidgets.com/arrive-and-drive/ and will provide your child the ability to drive one of our track cars with provided safety gear as our rookie trainer explains everything they need to know! If you have any interested family and friends, please pass this information along as it is a great experience and a chance to see if this may be his or her passion!

The Official TQMA 2026 Season Track Records Banner will be auctioned off at this year's banquet. This prestigious banner can be proudly displayed in your race shop or driver's room. Proceeds from the auction will benefit TQMA club funds, courtesy of WHITE MOTORSPORTS and Matt Nunnery Design. Bidding is now open in the comment section, with increments of $25. Auction ends at the banquet.

Hello race fans, families, friends and community! As our 2025-26 race season comes to an end, we would like to announce our one-day season finale! This one-day show will be held, Saturday May 2, 2026.

As always, spectator admission is free and our drivers love to put on a show! Everyone is welcome to stop by and check out the action at the track.

There will be refreshments available for purchase from food truck vendors.
