Hello peeps!! š
I have missed all of you so much.
You might remember me as your āfunā coach ā always ready to teach a class⦠or four a day š. I loved running, hiking, biking, and anything that got my heart rate up.
In mid-2023, I let family issues, health problems, and deep sadness pull me into an isolation Iām not proud of. I mentally hit rock bottom, and exercise stopped bringing me joy. Instead, it stirred up memories of a coach from my past who repeatedly told me I wasnāt good enough.
I love my family and my grandbabies more than anything, and I convinced myself that putting my health and fitness on the back burner was what I needed at the time.
Then in July of 2025, while I was already at my lowest, I lost one of my favorite people in the world ā my little brother, Chuck. š I spiraled hard with grief.
In September, I suggested to my sister-in-law (Ms. Fitness herself!š„° She is amazing) that we honor him every year by doing something in his memory. I knew how proud Chuck was of me when I was coaching all of you, running, biking, and truly living a life I loved.
So here I am ā working on our first memory event. Iām not chasing winning or perfection. Iām showing up, finishing, and creating a baseline for next year.
