Keeping your focus is a challenge on the picturesque North Golf Course with sweeping views of the high Sonoran desert landscape. Subtle elevation changes and views in all directions among thousands of giant saguaros provide members with an all-together different experience on the South Course. The exceptionally maintained courses are set in a lush and natural desert environment and highly enjoyable for all skill levels.

Congratulations to our 2023 Women’s Club Champion, Lydia Shell, who represented our club in the fourth annual PGA National Club Championship held in Scottsdale on December 12 to 14. The Championship hosted 520 of the best amateur club champions from the entire country who competed in this 54-hole premier PGA event.

The 208 women contestants (ages 13-80) were divided into 3 divisions: Open (any age), Seniors (50+), and Legends (60+). Lydia, competing in the Seniors division, finished 10th of 52 women in the field. After a rough start on day one at the Westin Kierland, Lydia moved up an impressive 15 spots on day two at the Troon North Pinnacle course with back-to-back birdies on holes 5 and 6. On day three at the challenging Monument course she held her own to maintain her outstanding 10th position.

Lydia is our 2023 club champion at Gallery and Dove, both of which are proud to have been represented by Lydia this year.
