Keenan grew up learning golf from his dad at the age of three in Durango, Colorado, and by 10 years old he was competing in tournaments. An accomplished junior player, collegiate player, and professional, Keenan is now a highly skilled instructor. With a comfortable atmosphere, Keenan takes an integrated approach to instruction, as no two golfers are the same. Addressing the full swing, short game

, putting, practice routines, course management and the mental aspect of the game, you are sure to see your scores improve and your love of the game grow. Keenan’s experience, patience, and great communication will personalize instruction, and accommodate many different learning styles. Through playing and teaching, Keenan has met so many wonderful people, and enjoys sharing his passion for golf.

Monday I had a round I haven’t had in a while. Shot a new course record 60 (-10) at Omni Tucson National Sonoran course. A big shout out to for tuning my clubs, for providing equipment, and for keeping the course in great shape this summer. Thanks to for allowing me to work on my own game while providing lessons to great people who seek to enjoy the game as much as I do.

The focus today was all about ball position . If the ball position gets too far back it can create many unnecessary movements - even a perfect swing would make the ball go right. Moving the ball position slightly forward allowed this student to hit the ball straighter and make better contact!

As golfers 🏌️‍♂️we have tendencies to go through the motions when we go to the driving range.

Every time we practice, we need to have a goal in mind.

Here I’m working on staying in my posture throughout my swing, and trying to keep my left foot planted for as long as possible. This creates power and efficiency.

I want to welcome you to Keenan Holt Golf Academy. I’ve been playing and practicing golf ⛳️ since I was just 3 years old. My mission is to share my knowledge and experience with other golfers through individual and group lessons, to help improve their game.
