Because of the Low Rollers teams' generosity, we were able to help the good folks at Gateway 180 in turn help many homeless St. Louisans in need. This morning we were delighted to drop off a very nice size haul of donations as well as $320; With the league's winning team, Jump Company donating their $200 winnings, along with other cash donations totaling $120.

Thank you for being such a caring group, we're excited about getting back on the lanes in 2023!

Also wanted to say thanks to Saratoga Lanes, AAF Ad Club St. Louis for sponsoring with cash for the winner, and KATHYREPS for sponsoring with the trophy!

This Wednesday is the last night of bowling. There is a tie for first place - Paradowski and Jump - exciting! Start time is 8PM (not 7pm as there is a private party). The lane assignments are as follows:

Lanes 1 & 2 - CFS / RT
Lanes 3 & 4 - JC / PAR
Lanes 5 & 6 - CM / ELA
Lanes 7 & 8 - NHS / FUS

The theme is Thanks for Giving where we'll be doing a donation drive for Gateway 180. They're looking for winter coats, diapers, kids', women's and men's socks and underwear, baby lotion & shampoo, pacifiers, baby bottles & formula, children's & adult toothpaste and toothbrushes, washcloths and body towels, women's stick deodorant, liquid & bar body soap, shampoo & conditioner, body lotion, shower shoes/flip flops, laundry detergent & bleach, canned food goods, bus passes, gift cards to Walmart, Target, Aldi's, Schnucks, Amazon, Sporting goods, tickets to events and attractions.

Hey Low Rollers!

Even though we (once again) can’t get together for our normal bowling season this fall, we’d like to at least have the chance to see everyone before the weather gets too cold to gather outdoors.

Please join us on Wednesday 10/20 for happy hour from 5pm-7pm at Taco Circus on the Hill (4940 Southwest Ave 63110) where we’ll gather on their patio, weather permitting. If it gets chilly, they have a fire pit to keep us warm, as well as $2 tequilas and $3 margs on Wednesdays.

If it rains, we’ll use Urban Chestnut in the Grove as our backup. We'll send an email out to team captains and will update this post if we do change venues - so keep your eyes peeled if you see rain in the forecast.

We’re again going to collect donations for Gateway 180 as we’ve done in past years. We’ll mainly focus on coats and nonperishable food/personal care items, but here’s a link with their current donation needs as well. https://gateway180.org/getinvolved/
