Last weekend damage assesed
Transmission is broken internaly , running issuues narrowed to possible broken wire to map sensor
Not sure if there will be enough time to deal with it will see if anyone available to swap transmission before friday nite

Weekend update , after previous weeks fireworks finaly a good one

Friday Slayton rained out
Saturday Arlington Raceway-Official Page pulled off a miricle pumping 3-5 million gallons off track over night to pull off a race
Heat start 3rd finish 3rd feature start 5th finish 3rd behind nate coopman and justin schelizche ( not gonna complain there )
Sunday redwood speedway
Heat st 3rd finish 3rd feature start 5th and got the win.
Both tracks where a blast hammer down

Saturdy arlington callled due to heat
Sunday redwood called due to heat

Oooofdah it was a rough weekend for the 51x
Slayton heat 4th to 2nd feature 6th to dnf got hit in right rear wheel bent the 1" bolt in safety hub and blew bearing apart , then i under estimated who passed me when trying to get off and got blasted in driver door ( that was our fault ) dnf

Arlington heat start 4th got the win by 3.8 seconds over 2nd ( 4 lap heat )
Feature start 6th , was making way through pack got hit in left front wheel axel broke another dnf

Carnage

1 driver cv axel
1 right rear hub and hardware
1 left front hub
1 driverside control arm

After 2 nights in a row of wrecks no racing sunday car needs repairs and driver needs an attitude adjustment

My grandson Zack is getting ready to make a debut into racing , his dad says kart almost done , Zack picked helmet to match grandpa's car
He will be a 4th generation driver with his dad , both grandfathers a great grandfather and an older sister all having made a few laps around minnesota , wisconsin , north dakota , south dakota
Cant wait to see him in action

Weekend update

Friday slayton
Heat start 4th fnished 6th
Feature start 6th finished 5th
Good track , good car , driver just makin bad moves

Saturday Arlington
Heat start 5th and won
Feature start 2nd and won
Great show

Sunday redwood
Heat st 4th and won
Feature start 6th ,finish 7th
Was passing under 2nd and found tractor tire and 1 way would have wrecked guy above so baja through infield to avoid

Was a pretty chill weekend , sunday was a blast with everyone hangin by trailer socializing

Hello race fans
Weekend update
Friday Slayton rained out after heat race complete redo next weekend
Saturday Arlington Raceway-Official Page heat start 3rd finished 2nd feature start 6th finished 2nd to mr Nitro Nate Coopman
Sunday was a nite off

With only 3 nights on new car feelin pretty good about it , some bugs to hopefully work out next weekend but we think we have them

Also adding Toppers and Trailers Plus to the car , Brett and the guys have been a huge help keeping a 33 year old trailer on the road , see them for some awsome deals on trailers , plows and truck accessories

Better late than never

Last weekend was pretty hectic having to get new car ready Digging Dirt Motorsports knocked it out of the park again

Friday slayton
Stop on way at Toppers and Trailers Plus to get cables on trailer door fixed thank you Brett Allen and crew for the fast fix
Then on to Digging Dirt Motorsports to pick up the new ride
Car went in the trailer at 6pm for an hour drive to track , unloaded set tire preasure and barely got belts adjusted before heat line ups
Heat start 1st and won it
Feature started pole but kaytee caught me 3 laps in finished 2nd on a bad alternator
Slayton was also meet the fans night one of my favorite nites the kids come out and see cars up close , lots got pics in the car
Arlington the guys got me fixed on alternator while i adressed some small wiring issues
Heat start 5th finished 2nd
Feature start 5th ran 2nd until a restart ended 3rd behind Nate Coopman and Justin Schelitzche i could get close but those 2 where on a mission
Redwood speedway
There was a great field of cars , but mothernature had other plans thank you Dostals and crew for the attempt

Over all happy with new ride , gonna visit Digging Dirt Motorsports for some adjusting of seat mount on way to Slayton this weekend then its just adjusting to the new car after so long in old on

Car felt better than expected with tire rule change

Next weekend looks to be just Arlington again

Slayton and redwood will be starting weekend of 22nd to 24th
