Position: Ballet Teacher
Location: Mapleton Ballet Academy, Mapleton, Utah
Responsibilities:
Teach ballet using the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus (training provided if necessary)
Foster a caring and supportive environment that nurtures the growth of individual dancers
Instill excellent technique while maintaining a focus on the unique qualities of each student
Create and choreograph captivating routines
Assist in directing performances
Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the overall ballet program
Requirements:
A genuine love for children and a passion for teaching (ages 4-16)
Proven experience in teaching ballet, with a strong foundation in technique
Maturity and professionalism in dealing with students, parents, and staff
A deep-rooted passion for ballet and the ability to transmit that enthusiasm to young dancers
Patience and understanding when working with young children
Ability to work independently as an independent contractor
Working Hours:
Part-time position with flexible working hours, typically between 3-8 pm from Monday to Thursday. Occasional weekend commitments for performances and events may arise.
