Long post but it’s well deserved.



I’ve had the privilege of watching you grow from a 9-year-old kid with a dream into a 13-year-old young man with incredible determination. What makes your story special isn’t just how much you’ve improved—it’s how hard you’ve had to work for every step along the way.

While some kids may have had things come easier, you’ve shown up time and time again and put in twice the effort without ever giving up. That takes a kind of strength that can’t be measured by batting averages, trophies, or wins. It’s the strength of character.

One thing I hope you never forget is that making mistakes doesn’t define you. Every great player strikes out, misses balls, and has bad days. What makes great players different is that they keep going. And that’s exactly what you’ve always done.

You are one of the kindest kids I’ve ever met. You care about people, you work hard, and you never stop trying to be better. Those qualities will take you much farther in life than any home run ever could.

I’m proud of the player you’ve become, but even more proud of the young man you’re becoming. Keep believing in yourself the way the people around you believe in you. You are capable of more than you know, and your hard work is proof that you can overcome challenges that would make many people quit.

Never let one bad swing, one bad game, or one tough day convince you that you’re not enough. You are enough. You always have been. ❤️⚾️💪🏼
