There are plenty of facilities so we will not have a porta-potty this shoot.
All shooters are welcome either Saturday or Sunday. We will have our peer groups on Saturday but will still as usual make sure our regular groups are getting to the ranges in a timely manner. We have 3 ranges of 10 targets each to make sure we keep everything moving smoothly.
**If you don't want to fight the crowds Sunday is usually a less popular day.**
You do not have to be in a peer group to still be able to come and compete for the AL ASA State Championship buckle. You just have to be on the list of qualified shooters.
You do not have to be qualified for anything to just come and shoot a fun round either. So we just want to make sure everyone is clear that no archer will be turned away at any point......unless you come after last card out.
Awards Process:
SOY Awards will be given out on Saturday.
-For Adult Classes they will be given as the groups come off the ranges.
-For all Young Adult and Younger classes unless requested otherwise will be given out after all peer groups come off the range as parents like to take photos and celebrate the kiddos successes.
Championship Awards will be given out Sunday after all rounds have been completed.
-I will do my best to finalize scores as soon as possible.
Arrival process:
When you arrive to Cornerstone you will come through the open gate and park in lot near bottom pavilion and bunk house. You will not be allowed to park up next to the top pavilion as we will have it roped off for emergencies.
Practice Bags will be to your left as you get to the top of the hill.
Registration will be under the large pavilion at the top of the hill on the right. This is where you will also find concessions and bathrooms.
Shooting Process:
Before any archer, parent, or family member of an archer come to registration table the archer will need to 100% be warmed up and ready to be placed in a group ready to head out on the range assigned. This keeps the flow moving faster for everyone. In the past we have been held up hunting people down that registered prior to warming up and it causes MAJOR delays in our process.
This is a championship and by rules of ASA Federation groups must be busted. This does not mean we are going to seperate every single family but we will be busting the buddy groups up for integrity of the tournament and awards at hand.
Once you complete the 10 target range you were assigned to you will then return to the pavilion to obtain next range assignment and cards. During this time we welcome you all to grab a bite to eat and/or just cool off under the shade for bit.
We will have Range A, B, and C and will be sending groups out strategically to make sure we keep things moving so if you are sent to one range please do not take it upon yourself to go to a different range.
