This is an absolutely huge moment for me. These screenshots are the results of my accuracy validation against the Mount Washington Observatory. Besides the observatory and NOAA no other reliable weather sources exist for Mount Washington. Just a few weeks ago I was almost ready to launch when I decided to compare against the observatory. Well, that was a wake up call and I still had work to do. Weather accuracy can be a matter of life and death, and i’m not messing around. I can’t wait to offer this to the hiking community. We’re almost there.

Our daylight countdowns and alerts let you keep close tabs on how long you can be out there until you might have to pop out the headlamp. A subtle but cool little safety feature. After all, how many SAR rescues have we heard about where the only light people had was their cell phones?
