A Difficult Announcement — The Kids Room Is Closing

Dear Thrive Families,

It is with a very heavy heart that I share a difficult decision we have had to make.. After more than 16 years, our Kids Room will be closing effective August 31, 2026.

For so many of us, the Kids Room has been much more than a place for children to spend time while their parents worked out. It has been part of the fabric of our Community. Over the years, we have watched little ones grow from babies and toddlers into big kids—and some of those children have even come back as young adults. We have celebrated birthdays, made friendships, comforted tears, shared countless laughs, and created memories that will stay with us for years to come.

I know this announcement may be disappointing, and I want you to know that this decision was not made lightly. After 16+ years, closing something that has been such an important part of Thrive is incredibly difficult. But sometimes, as a small business owner, difficult decisions have to be made to ensure the continued strength and future of the community we have worked so hard to build.

Most importantly, thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your children. Thank you for allowing our staff to be part of their lives. And thank you for making Thrive Community Fitness more than just a gym. You have made it a community, and the Kids Room has been a special part of that story for more than a decade and a half.

While this chapter is coming to an end, the memories—and the relationships created along the way—will always be part of Thrive.

The Biggest Thriver starts next week and these are the personal training times available during the program.

Take a look at the schedule and add the sessions that work best for you right into your calendar. When you plan for it ahead of time, it becomes much easier to show up and stay committed.

These workouts are designed to help you stay accountable, push a little harder, and make real progress alongside your team.

If you have been thinking about joining, there is still time to sign up. Stop by the Front Desk and we will get you registered before the program begins next week.

Take a minute to look through the schedule and add the times that work best for you straight into your calendar. When it’s already planned into your week, you’re a lot more likely to show up and stay consistent.

Our coaches are ready to help you push yourself, stay accountable, and make real progress over the next 10 weeks. We want to see you there.
