Rainier Soccer Alliance Elite B01 Boys Team consists of a group of fine young men who are dedicated to the game of soccer. Their love and understanding of this sport are unmatched by many their age (or older!).

WA State Cup Semifinal Match. This match put us up against long time rival CW Sounders from Yakima, winner to the final. The RSA Elite boys put together a complete game, as the exciting contest flowed back and forth with many ebbs and flows and highs and lows. An upper v banger from outside put the boys up 1-0 early first half. The boys could not quite close out the half, and went in 1-1 at the break. CW seized another opportunity after our corner with a big time counter for the 2-1 lead. Unfazed, the Elite kept the pressure on, and earned an equalizing PK to make it 2-2. Several late flurries by both squads went for not, and the match pushed to Penalties, where CW got the win. Nothing but pride for way these boys battled and competed. The end of an era now attained, we wish nothing but the best for all of these boys as they continue on with this great game of soccer.

Vegas Game 3. The RSA boys again controlled the run of play, but the scoring woes continued in a 2-0 loss to Wisconsin Fire. Both goals coming in last 30 seconds of each half. Game 4, the Elite again controlled play and pushed home their first goal to take a 1-0 lead over Chicago Fire. A late goal given up led to the final 1-1 result. Overall, the boys competed well in a solid bracket, and gained great experience. OK, back now to WA State Cup Semifinal match vs. CWSA, Saturday 4pm at Tahoma HS. Let's Go Elite!

Mayor's Cup Las Vegas, Game 1. The RSA Elite boys controlled the run of play, but played Utah Surf to a 0-0 tie in the steady rain. Game 2, the rain continued, and the boys fell to the Turlock Tornados, 3-0. Unable to overcome an early 2-0 defecit, despite improved 2nd half play. Game 3, tomorrow 1120 am. Go Elite!

State Cup Group Play Game 3. The RSA boys put together a complete game and cruised to a 4-1 victory over Dragons FC. On to the Semifinals FEB 25! Now the Elite take a short break and head to Las Vegas for the Mayor's Cup this coming weekend. VEGAS Baby! Let's go RSA Elite!

State Cup Group Play Game 2 vs.Tynecastle. The RSA boys slogged through the driving rain to push home a late goal for the 3-2 victory. After RSA took an early 2-0 lead, Tynecastle pulled even, setting the stage for the late heroics, in another grinder of a physical game. On to game 3 today, 9AM vs. Dragons FC at Rogers HS. Win and Advance! Go Elite!

Back at it again! State Cup Group play began last weekend, with a cold weather night game up in Seattle vs. Seattle Celtic. A crazy environment created an equally crazy game, as the boys battled from behind twice to end the game with a 4-4 tie. Next up as Group play continues is a home game 6pm tonight vs. Tynecastle at Rogers HS. Let's get this RSA Elite!

Game 9. The RSA Elite wrapped up the fall season with a tough, physical, and hard fought 1-0 win over the Fire from Wenatchee, in the steady rain at Rogers HS. The boys now take a short break before they begin preparations for State Cup and Las Vegas Mayors Cup.

Game 8 up at Starfire vs. Dragons FC resulted in a high scoring, entertaining, and very fitting 4-4 tie. Trailing 3-2 @ the half, the boys tied it at 3, only to fall behind 4-3 in the final minutes. A very late goal produced the tie! The boys finish out the fall schedule Sunday 5pm at Rogers HS vs. United FC Fire. Finish strong RSA!

Games 6 and 7 brought mixed results. First a physical battle ended with a 3-1 home victory over Dragons FC. Next, a second trip up to Bellevue produced another tough 2-1 loss to NPSA despite improved play and effort. Next up, 9am rematch today vs. Dragons FC at Starfire. Keep fighting RSA!

Game5, the shorthanded RSA boys battled, but fell to CWSA. This weekend brings on two big games, and with it a huge opportunity to move up in the league table. Saturday 10am vs. Dragons at home, and Sunday 9am vs. NPSA in Bellevue. Let's go Elite!!!

Game 4 brought on a trip up to Bellevue to play NPSA. A sleepy start led to a quick 1-0 defecit right out the gate. The boys battled back for an equilizer before the break. Second half just could not sustain enough consistently skillfull effort, and despite a late sense of urgency, the boys fell short 2-1. Next up this Saturday a huge home game vs. CWSA, 1130 at Heritage. Get after it RSA Elite!
