Why "Missions"?

Words have meaning and there are many that could describe the adventures awaiting.

To use the word "Missions" is to bring into the conversation ideas of calling, focus, & purpose.

To bring about transformative adventure experiences, a mission mindset is needed.

Getting to the Top of something is one of the main goals in climbing, & a summit experience can impact your life in a powerful way.

We don’t aim to accomplish goals by chance, rather we implement Truth Orientated Practices.

When you climb, you grip the rock in a way that keeps you anchored but also allows for progression. You move towards the summit with the idea in mind that you will soon leave it behind. The Top is not the end.

In life, if we try to get a hold on the Truth as an object to obtain, then we ourselves will “vanish” before it. Perhaps there is a different way to relate to what is True.

Exploring this landscape of sense-making through climbing adventures is MTM’s way of transforming ourselves and those we serve.

Why Mountains? 🏔️

They invoke us to CHANGE. In preparing for, participating with, or reflecting on a mountain experience, there is a force that focuses our attention to what truly matters.

The height of a mountain and the way in which you climb it are two different things. Even so is the truth of life and what we do with it.

This is one thing you can explore deeper when on your Mission with MTM.
