Sleeping Bear Dunes Port Oneida Run The Port Oneida Run is a 5K trail run through the Port Oneida historic rural neighborhood in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

The Port Oneida Run is a challenging 5K trail run (or just a beautiful walk) on the Bayview Trail offering a unique tour of the Port Oneida Rural Historic District – “one of the most prized historic landscapes in the country”! The course is a loop which meanders through the flat fields and yes, some hills, of the pastoral landscape of farmsteads from the late 1800s. Afterwards, take a swim on the

beautiful beaches in the National Lakeshore! Run with your friends, family, or come to cheer them on. It’s all to support and appreciate this special National Park! Organized by Preserve Historic Sleeping Bear, a nonprofit partner of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Your participation supports a place we all love and care about.
