🎣 Yesterday we had a great team meeting as we get ready for a new season!

A big congratulations to our anglers who scored the highest in our last practice tournament! 🏆 We recognized their hard work with a special gift.

📅 Registration for the new season ends September 1st, so if you’re planning to join, don’t wait!

We’re also looking for a partner for a high school angler who is interested in joining the team. If you or someone you know would like to join, please reach out to us!

We’re looking forward to another great season on the water! 🎣💙

Looking for a high school-age student who would like to join our fishing team! We have a young angler from the Thibodaux area who is looking for a partner(only requirement is the child needs to be a Lafourche Parish resident)

If your child is interested in fishing and would love the opportunity to get on the water, please reach out! Let’s get these kids teamed up, having fun, and making some great memories on the water! 🎣

Today is National Championship Day at Kentucky Lake, where the top 25 teams in the nation will compete. Louisiana has one team fishing Championship Saturday, sitting in an impressive 5th place.

Good luck to Travis Meche Jr. and Chance Watson from Rayne High School! It has been a pleasure watching everything y’all have accomplished this season. Your hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship have made you an inspiration to the next generation of young anglers across Louisiana. The State of Louisiana including The Lafourche Bassmasters High School Fishing Team is cheering for you!

We participated in the Bayou Region High School Summer Bass Practice Tournament in Pierre Part at the Atchafalaya Spillway with St. James and St. Amant.

We had 2 High School Teams and 2 Junior Teams.

High School teams:
Carter Guillot & Hunter McCarthy caught a 5 fish limit with an overall weight of 5.75 placing them in 2nd🥈

Jax Daigle & Jax Bonvillain also caught a 5 fish limit with an overall weight of 5.15 placing them in 3rd🥉

No one on our junior team caught fish they were able to take to the scales.

Brison Savoie is participating in tournaments nearby in Amelia and in Morgan City
