We celebrated our 2025-2026 season at our annual banquet, which included a meal, prizes, and recognition of our seniors, creating lasting memories. Many thanks to all the sponsors who support this wonderful group.

Our Lafourche BassMasters fared well at the state championship, with 3 Jr. Teams and 1 High School Team participating.

There were a total of 31 Jr. Teams.
Landry and Sophie placed 22nd with 1.33 lbs. Brison and Mason placed 14th with 3.30 lbs. Michael and Jax placed 2nd with 8.13 lbs. 🎉🎉

There were a total of 83 High School Teams. Evan and Cleve placed 30th with 13.34 lbs.

Congratulations to our anglers and thanks to our captains!

Tonight we kicked off the LYBN State Championship Tournament weekend with a banquet celebrating the anglers. 🎣
Lafourche has four teams that have qualified and will participate in this weekend's tournament.

Evan Breaux and Cleve Matherne will be competing in the High School Division.
The junior teams competing are Brison and Mason Savoie, Landry and Sophie Trosclair, and Michael Ponson and Jax Daigle.

Evan and Cleve were also honored as graduating seniors. (They also completed the state's nine-tournament trail.)

Shoutout to our Lafourche BassMasters who participated in the West Division Qualifier at Calcasieu River (Moss Bluff) this weekend: Team Breaux-Matherne and Team McCarthy-McCarthy. Nice job representing, guys!

Congratulations to the LYBN North Qualifier Jr Division Champions, Michael Ponson and Jax Daigle. Their total weight was 15.96 pounds, and their big bass weighed 7.55 pounds. Way to go, guys!
