💛 SUPPORT OUR WARRIOR, ATHENAH 💛

One of our own is in the fight of her life, and now it’s our turn to fight alongside her.

Athenah has been part of the American MMA & Wrestling family since she was just 3–4 years old. We’ve had the privilege of watching her grow up on our mats into an incredible young wrestler and an even stronger young lady.

Last year, Athenah pinned her way to a USA-NJ State Championship. 🏆🤼‍♀️

She’s a fighter. She’s a champion. And she has an incredibly bright future ahead of her.

Now, Athenah is battling cancer, and we want her and her family to know that they will not fight this battle alone.

American MMA & Wrestling will be selling SUPPORT ATHENAH shirts at the gym, and on October 10th we will host a special wrestling camp in her honor.

💛 100% OF ALL PROCEEDS from the shirts and camp will go directly toward helping Athenah and her family through this difficult time.

This is bigger than wrestling.

This is about taking care of one of our own.

Our wrestling community is a family, and when one of us fights, we ALL fight.

Please come out, grab a shirt, attend the camp, donate, share this post, and most importantly, keep Athenah and her family in your thoughts.

1:00-3:00PM Session 2

Young guns chasing the best out there again! Incoming freshmen Jimmy Smith and Kelle Domanick hit their first High School Super 32 qualifier this weekend. These 2 studs are paving the way and setting standards to chase the best out there!

Wrestling Camp starts TOMORROW! Please arrive early so our wrestlers are ready to roll right at their scheduled start time. Bantams and up: don’t forget to bring a snack for the 1st session.

Youth Team Practices and Small Group sessions are canceled this week — we’ll pick things back up next week.

We are looking forward to a great week on the mats!
