After a fun day of tumbles, rolls, good passes, and some great spikes, we have a winning team. And it ain't these guys! Congratulations Larking and Jeff. It turns out being able to move in the sand over the course of 5 games is quite important! Undefeated, they were! We may do it again next weekend so drop a line if you would like to play!

NEW DATE: Court clean up, tilling, and net install, on Friday May 27th at 530pm. WE NEED SOME GUYS!! The tiller work is not easy going and it would be greatly appreciated to have some of the fellas volunteer to help with the court. See you Friday to get ready for fun on Saturday!

Hi everyone and Welcome to Mantua Beach Volleyball 2016. Updates are as follows:

- Court Tilling and clean up. I have reached out to Jeffrey Freemyer to help us with court tilling again this year. We are looking at next Saturday, 5/21/16, but have not confirmed that date. With Dave Stickley moved away, our anchor for taking care of the court set up is gone. We will miss him for sure this summer!! We need to put up the net, dig up the lines (Melinda confirmed they are still out there), check our netting around the court, rake and till. I would appreciate hands to help and I will be confirming which date we need the your assistance. Please bring your rake and yard clippers with your gloves if you can help, once we have a date.

- Memorial Day Tournament - Saturday 5/28/16. What is the interest in a 2's beach volleyball tournament on Memorial Day weekend Saturday? I understand there will be a band at the pool that night so it will be a great day to get together. If we don't do a tournament, we can just play and get our sand legs back for the season. I am looking for your feedback.
