Another amazing week in the books for Gold Standard!

-MTM Nutmeg and Neve Grimm had a great week in the older children's and a 5th place finish in the junior National derby

-Hector AAD and Lucy Grimm won EVERY .80 Jr/ao class to be champion

-Clementine and Megan Charms won two classes in the .90 jr/ao to be champion as well as second in th classic

-Glenridge Frosted and Natalie Geller had consistent top placings in the 2' USHJA to earn championship honors

-Happy Des Besnards and Angela Pollex laid it down in the AO national derby with an unfortunate rail on the hunt phase to place just out of the ribbons

Halfway through circuit = halfway through the fun!

Just two of the best boys doing best boy things 🦄

❤️ Tyrus jumped in top form with his new crew to reserve championship honors in the 3'3" performance and top ribbons in the 2'6" USHJA. Huge thank you to Quinn and Betsy for loving him as much as we do!

❤️ MTM Nutmeg and Rachel Zaluski laid it down in the $15,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby during WCHR week at WEC.

Circuit week 1: ✔️

This week was for the mares!

Congratulations to Rachel Zaluski's Glenridge Frosted on top placings in the 2' USHJA to be reserve champion. This super star small green is available for interviews in Ocala

Happy Des Besnards and owner/rider Angela Pollex on great ribbons in the 3'6" AOs, including the win in the combined junior/amateur classic. We are looking forward to having Angela and her ponies join us for the winter!

Clementine and owner/rider Megan Charms had a banner week in the low adult jumpers, posting two quick and clean rounds to earn top 4 placings in all their classes

Looking forward to continued success during week 2!

Huge congratulations to the Buckley family on the acquisition of Farnley Ivy Crown. We can't wait to see this pony continue to blossom at Owen Equestrian!

Current sales list (all with me at the farm in Ocala):

1. 2017 3 ring gelding. 16.3h, record through 1.35 before import, has done 1.15 adult jumpers, adult eq, and derbies. Always jumps, very quiet, unbelievably forgiving and has a nice way of going. Great prospect to do the big eq
2. 2018 top of the line small green prospect. Top model, mover and jump, natural change. Plenty of stride and scope for the division. Currently competing in the 2', ready for her own tiny!
3. 2016 15.3h mare. Green for her age due to a late start and time off to have a baby. Currently schooling 2'6" courses with a green change. Good mover and brave. Needs a job ASAP as owner is getting out of horses. Great prospect for someone on a budget!
4. 2020 medium Welsh mare. Absolutely stunning, quiet, brave and sweet as can be. 10/10 jump. Not a mover! Plenty of step and scope to do whatever job she needs to. Think Barbie dream pony. Loves to get loved on
5. 2016 16.2 tb gelding. Auto swaps, miles in the 2'6" with plenty of scope and step to do the 3'. Quiet type and very brave. Lease preferred
6. Two green broke ADORABLE smalls. Both have been on field trips and have been lightly started over jumps. Not giving more details because I am not sure we are ready to part with them!

Congratulations are in order for the new owner of Charity Blues! Huge thank you to Angela Pollex for trusting us with "Calesca". We only had this special mare for a few months, but she certainly made her mark and we can't wait to watch her bloom at Fairway Farm with Colleen Acosta 🦄❤️

- Currently ISO big sweet horse to do cross rails - 2'. Circuit lease, year lease, or purchase. Think broken down equitation horse. Can need ALL the maintenance as long as it is angel baby

AVAILABLE (aka NEED jobs before Florida)

- 13 year old 2'6"-3' packer. Quiet, pretty, easy. Lease or purchase
- 10 year old beautiful medium pony. Has most recently been doing walk trot lunge line lessons with a 5 year old. Has done children's pony, auto swaps. Needs a job ASAP
- .85-1.20 jumper. Brave and game. Sweet with auto swaps. Lease or purchase
- 9 year old warmblood prospect. Started late, had a baby, very pretty, good mover, very brave. Has shown once and was perfect
- 6 year old with permanent small junior card. Easy easy easy. Has been doing 3'3" greens and derbies
- 5 year old recently imported warmblood mare. Brave, easy. Got ribbons her first time out in the baby greens in Kentucky
- 8 year old flashy recently imported gelding. Very brave, jumps a 10, auto swaps, sweet enough for any level

Huge congratulations to team Gold Standard on a successful week at the Chagrin Valley Hunter Jumper Classic!

Neve Grimm had an amazing week with her new horse, MTM Nutmeg, winning two classes in the 3'3" juniors

Hector AAD and Lucy Grimm had consistent clear rounds in the 1.0m junior jumpers, including a second place finish in Sunday's Classic

Heros and Larry Geller had a successful move up the walk trot cross rails to earn championship honors

Showcase LTD's Pintura had a great 3' green debut, with many top placings, including a win in the 2"9" USHJA and 3' greens. We are so excited for the future with this talented young horse!

Huge thank you to everyone that made our July horse show marathon a success. Looking forward to some R&R for our two and four legged friends ❤️🦄
