Happy (belated) New Year!
2025 has been busy so far for the Hog Wild. We will be fishing out of Isla Mujeres, Mexico until mid March then headed back to Pirates Cove to kick off the summer. Looking forward to another great year of fishing!

Handful of tunas and a bonus blue one. We’ll be off the next few days from wind then will be heading down to Morehead City to fish the Swansboro blue marlin tournament. Hopefully weather cooperates down there and we get some good fishing.

Bit tougher fishing today, sharks got handful but still came out with a good catch. Looks like tomorrow will be beautiful then the wind will keep us tied up for a few days.

Glad to make the day. This mornings ride out was all you wanted rough. Our crowd toughed it out and were rewarded with a great catch.

Kicking off our charter season on the right foot. Great catch of dolphins and 2/3 blue marlins. Caught a 300lber then had a pair of 200lbers get after both teaser. Ended up hooking both but pulled one off and caught the other. Looking forward to another busy season!

Our crowd wanted to marlin fish and we are glad they did! We had a great day catching a grand slam plus a white and missed another white one. Same crowd tomorrow so hoping for another day like today.

Fishing season is coming to an end. We have a few more trips this month and then it will be time for hunting season. We’ve been working hard at the farm getting everything right for deer season. This was from yesterday we caught 5/6 sails and jumped off a blue one and a few dolphins.

Sorry we’ve been slacking on the reports. We fished the white marlin open with not much action. Came home and fished the Alice kelly and pirates cove tournament caught a couple sails and saw a couple blue marlins that didn’t work out. This blue one is from yesterday along with a great catch of dolphins and Thursday we had caught a sail and a hand full of dolphins as well. Fingers crossed we see a better turn out from some white marlins soon.

Great tuna fishing today. There were tunas jumping as far as you could see for most of the day. Tomorrow we load up the boat to go to ocean city for the heels and reels womens tournament and the white marlin open. Wish us luck for a big white one!
