Epic 4th! After a covid-delayed repower & unrelated shaft seal issue, we fished for the 2nd time this yr and connected with a true giant. Stokely, Beth and their girls (including Laurel on her first trip) hooked a fish around noon that looked really big on the bite. The fish never jumped. After an hour of Beth on the rod, the fish got to the leader and showed herself for the first time. She was a sea monster. Later in the fight with the fish dug in, a massive great white swam behind the transom followed shortly by a large tiger shark. After 3.5 hrs with the drag maxed out, she finally parted. Incredible experience off the SC coast and a lifetime of memories!

These funds will be directly used to get drinking water to the people of the Bahamas via reverse osmosis systems, as well as generators, and other critically needed supplies as soon as the weather clears. Swung for the fences today and put the braziliano on the left short. Fished the tunas hoping to find a grown one and she showed up behind the left short around 12:45. Tried to eat twice and crushed it the 3rd time. Peeled off some drag and jumped half way out the water before pulling the hook. Absolute no-doubter. Those are the ones you wait countless hours to see and keep you coming back. @ Pirate's Cove Marina
