This weekend was all about growth and learning yet again a new track for the team. This weekend we competed at All American Speedway in Roseville. Friday was a practice day and an INEX 20 lap race for the legends which both Brooke and Tate did great. They quickly picked up the line and after a few adjustments they were getting in the ballpark on speed. The race went as expected with us finishing behind the veterans we were racing against, but we came back to the trailer with more knowledge and laps on this new track and maybe more importantly in one piece. We were super proud of both drivers on a great job! Special shout out to Calvin with CSH Racing for coming out and spotting for Brooke.
Saturday we only had Tate racing, Brooke had some other commitments for the day. Tate came out strong in practice knocking another .2s off his lap times and was finding his line and rhythm on the track. During qualifying Tate had a strong run and going but pushed it a little hard coming off turn two leading to him spinning down the back stretch. Luckily one of his two laps got logged and he qualified 6th out of 8 fast. Tate entered a 4 car heat race where we finished up 3rd and in the main event Tate was starting 6th out of 8 in the 30 lap main event. The main event went great going Green to Checkers which took a bit of a toll on Tate towards the end of the race but we were able to finish in 6th place still and on the lead lap. The car came back to the trailer in piece and ready for our next race.
