The owner of The Dance Factory is Jill Elmer Sauseda.Jill has operated a dance studio since she was thirteen years old. Jill obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Choreographic Design from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. After obtaining her degree, she performed with Moving South Dance Company, Ballet Jeayeaux, Twin City Ballet Company, State of La Danse, and Ballet Alexandria.Jill has tau
ght and performed choreography throughout Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, and New York. Since then, she and her students have studied and performed in New York, the Bahamas, and California. The Dance Factory is home to four performing companies. They have attended numerous dance conventions and competitions through out the United States where they have won countless awards. Many of the students from The Dance Factory have continued dancing after graduating high school, and have made their college dancelines.
