American Youth Football & Cheer programs have no tryouts or cutting of rosters. On-field coa

ching is allowed for younger age levels. Individual awards are given only for academic excellence, not for on-field activities. Safe Playing Environment
Players are matched by age/grade. There are strict mandatory equipment requirements. American Youth Football & Cheer provides Coaching Clinics and Risk Management Training to all coaches. An enforced national rulebook incorporates time-tested rules. A full-time executive staff supports all local associations and assists in sound policy creation.

🏈🐝 MANSFIELD YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEER – IMPORTANT SUMMER & FALL UPDATES 🐝🏈

As we get ready for another exciting season, please take a few minutes to review these important dates and reminders:

📅 Equipment Distribution (Tackle Players Only)
July 14th | 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Memorial Park Equipment Trailer

Please make every effort to attend so we can properly fit helmets and equipment and ensure we have enough gear for all players.

🏈 Practice Start Dates
• 1st & 2nd Grade Flag – Week of August 17th
• 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Tackle – August 3rd
• 6th Grade Tackle – July 27th
• 7th Grade Tackle – August 3rd (optional workouts begin week of July 27th)
• 8th Grade Tackle – July 27th

🏟️ Season Schedule
The first week of games is expected to be the weekend of August 29th. There is a slight possibility that some teams could play as early as August 27th or 28th. Coaches will share additional details as soon as league schedules are released.

📋 Paperwork & Report Cards
All paperwork must be completed and submitted before practice begins. Players will not be allowed to participate until all required documents have been received and approved.

💰 Outstanding Registration Payments
Please make arrangements to complete any remaining registration balances as soon as possible.

👨‍🏫 Coaches
All coaching certifications and CORI requirements must be completed by July 27th.

🏟️ Memorial Park Update
Due to the removal of the large bleachers at Memorial Park, we anticipate playing as many tackle games as possible at Mansfield High School this season. Additional scheduling information will be shared once finalized.

What a great way to wrap up our Spring Football Clinics! 🏈💚🖤
Tonight’s final clinic was a huge success. The numbers were strong all Spring, the effort was outstanding, and most importantly, the kids had an absolute blast. It was awesome to see so many young athletes competing, learning, and building pride in our Mansfield Youth Football program.
A big thank you to all of our players, coaches, and families who made these clinics such a positive experience. The energy and enthusiasm we’ve seen this spring has us excited about what’s ahead.
Now let’s carry this momentum into the summer, continue putting in the work, and get ready for camp to open at the end of July. The future is bright for MYFC, and we can’t wait to get back on the field together.

📍 Robinson Elementary School Cafeteria

✅ Football players and coaches must submit all required paperwork .
📣 Cheerleaders may submit paperwork on June 9th or at Apparel Night.

What You’ll Need:

📄 AYF Player Package (from your TeamLinkt registration email)
🏥 Medical Clearance (physical dated between 1/1/26 and 7/18/26 OR physician-signed Medical Clearance Form)
👶 New Players: Original Birth Certificate + Copy
✍️ All required signatures and initials completed

Important Reminders:

✔ Print paperwork single-sided only
✔ Do NOT attach a photo to Page #1
✔ Health insurance information is required on Pages #3 and #8
✔ We do NOT need Page #10 (Absentee Form)
✔ Report cards will be collected after the school year ends

⚠️ All paperwork is submitted to Eastern Mass AYF for compliance verification. Incomplete or incorrect paperwork cannot be accepted.

Tonight, Mansfield Youth Football & Cheer was proud to award five scholarships at Mansfield High School's Scholarship Awards Night.

These scholarships recognize student-athletes who have demonstrated dedication, leadership and a commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom. While also giving back to the program & the community.

We are honored to support these outstanding young MYFC Alum as they take the next step in their academic journeys. Congratulations to all of tonight's scholarship recipients, and best of luck in your future endeavors!

A special thank you to our families, volunteers, coaches, sponsors, and community members whose support makes opportunities like this possible. We are proud to invest in the future of Mansfield's youth.

The growth this Spring Cheer season has been incredible to watch! 💚📣🖤

From sharpening fundamentals to building confidence, teamwork, and tumbling skills — these athletes continue to put in the work every single week. The energy, effort, and determination at practices have been outstanding, and it’s showing more and more each session.

A huge shoutout to all of our cheerleaders, coaches, and families for the commitment and support throughout the season so far. The progress being made is something to be proud of, and we’re only getting started! 🔥
