Although the weather refused to cooperate, today’s 5k race and dog walk was a success! We had nearly 40 runners and dog lovers turn out to raise money for a great cause! We also had some of the shelter dogs in attendance along with some lucky pups who have been adopted 🙂. These pups were so happy to have a day out they didn’t care that it rained. We are definitely planning on doing this again next September, so keep an eye out for the Third annual Mansfield Martial Arts Center 5k and Dog Walk in 2027!

We definitely want to thank Richland County Dog Warden's Office & Shelter for bringing your pups out today. There are so many dogs who need and deserve a good home. If your family is looking to add a pet, please give them or any dog shelter a look first.

Thanks to Ohio Race Day for helping us put together another fun race. They do a great job setting up a race! Looking forward to working together again next year!

Reminder! We’re a couple weeks out! Register now and either run/walk the 5k or take one of the shelter dogs for a walk. There will be volunteers from the shelter to assist with the dogs. Join us for a great cause!

It’s time for our annual Black Belt 5k!! This year we’re combining the Walk/Run with a Dog Walk 🐕! Bring your own pet or walk one of the shelter dogs 🐶 provided by the Richland County Dog Warden’s Office & Shelter 🙂. Proceeds will go to the shelter.

Runners will take off first followed by the walkers and dog walkers. Join us for a great cause and make a shelter pup’s day!!
