The final regular event of the season. The Lexington shootout at Westbrook Country Club. Ashland’s team total of 324 was a good finish against a strong field and a tough course with fast greens. St John’s Jesuit won with a 306.

Every medalist from each team then played a one hole shootout. Reed Emmons and Landon Dreibelbis tied for 1st, so both participated. Reed got down to the final two and lost on a chip off.

Tourney play resumes with the District Championship Friday October 3rd at Shawnee CC in Lima.

The Ashland Boys golf team got the OCC Title back to where it belongs even If we have to share it with Lexington. Because of the point system both Teams tied and are considered CO CHAMPIONS.

Not only is the team winners of the conference, these individuals are well decorated and recognized for their individual accomplishments.
Reed Emmons and Landon Dreibelbis are first team All-OCC
Second Team OCC are Jacob Snay and Ty Ellis and Kale Durig gets Honorable Mention.

And we aren’t done yet! Ashland plays its next match at the Black Knight Tournament on Saturday at Sycamore Springs in Findlay. 1:00 shotgun start.
