Hey all, we are keeping an eye on the weather and the arena as well. Hopefully we will get some sunshine and the dirt can dry up some. A decision will be made Friday evening.
As of now, here are the patterns for the Beginner and Intermediate Showmanship and Horsemanship.

Please read the following as they apply to the show series...
- Reminder that points stay with horse and rider
- Proper western attire required for Showmanship, Horsemanship, Western Pleasure (Button up shirt long or short sleeve due to summer weather and hat or helmet)
Rules and etiquette for the Mansfield Equine Club shows
- No horses around clubhouse, bathroom buildings, and announcer’s area. We will start to ask that all horse and riders walk around the north side of the arena through the warm up/obstacle area. The area to the south of the arena is dark, and should be reserved for vehicles. We will put up signs next show, but please be aware.
- We ask that riders be waiting and ready when your group is called for an event. This will help in speeding things up.
- If you are the parent of a young kid under the age of 10, please make sure that they are staying with you and not unsupervised. If your kid is playing in the bathroom building, please make sure they have a parent or guardian with them at all times. Also, please refrain from having open drinks and food in the building.
We work to make sure that everything is clean, tidy, and put away before leaving the arena after a show, and we are asking for the assistance from our youth and members after the show to assist with the following tasks…
- Pull all trash in the girls/boys restroom and replace bags, wipe down sinks if needed
- Pull all trash bags around the grounds, take to the cans on the street, and pull cans over to clubhouse and turn upside down to keep rain water out.
