Today, the Pragma Jiu-Jitsu family mourns the loss of one of our own, Uriel.

Uriel was a young man full of life, dreams, and a bright future ahead of him. He had a kind heart, a contagious smile, and a positive spirit that touched everyone around him. Wherever he went, he brought joy, friendship, and genuine warmth.

This photo captures a moment that now carries an even deeper meaning. Uriel was standing alongside Professor Daniel and his brother Francisco, talking about the future, about his goals, and about his plans to return to training with renewed focus. He spoke about taking better care of his health, training consistently, and becoming the best version of himself. It was a conversation filled with hope, determination, and possibility.

None of us imagined that this conversation about the future would become one of our last memories with him.

Although his journey was far too short, the impact he left on our academy and in the hearts of those who knew him will never be forgotten. His kindness, his energy, and the memories he created with his teammates and friends will remain with us forever.

On behalf of the entire Pragma Jiu-Jitsu family, we extend our deepest condolences to his brothers, Francisco and Bryan, and to the entire family during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them, and we hope they find strength and comfort in the love and support of those around them.

Rest in peace, Uriel.
