As we get ready to cheer on our Manor ISD student-athletes this fall, we want to remind our community members age 60 and older about the Manor ISD Gold Pass!

The Manor ISD Gold Pass provides FREE admission for the cardholder to all Manor ISD athletic events throughout the school year (no tournaments or playoffs). It's a great way to support our student-athletes and enjoy the excitement of Mustang, Titan, Rattlers, Ravens & Gladiator athletics all season long.

📍 Gold Passes can be picked up at the Manor ISD Central Office.
Must live within the Manor ISD school zone. Must show proof of age & residency.

Greetings Manor ISD Parents and Guardians,

Manor ISD Athletics will require Pre-Participation Physicals for the following students for the 2026–2027 school year:

Incoming 7th grade students (first year of middle school athletics)
Incoming 9th grade students (first year of high school athletics)
Incoming 11th grade students (third year of high school athletics)
Any new student who has not previously participated in athletics

This requirement applies to all students participating in athletics, band, dance and cheer.

Manor ISD will be hosting physicals on:
Date: May 29, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Location: Manor New Tech Indoor Facility
10323 U.S. Hwy 290 E
Manor, TX 78653

Cost: $10 per student

Important Notes:
Returning students who previously participated in athletics must also ensure all Rank One forms are completed and updated prior to their physical appointment.

We encourage families to complete this requirement early to ensure students are cleared for participation before the start of the school year.

Matthew Walker is originally from Waller, Texas and he is married to his wife, Maria, and together they have two daughters, Arthess and Katielian. Coach Walker brings over 20 years of coaching experience in volleyball, basketball and in the classroom.

Most recently, Coach Walker served as the Head Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach at Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, California, where he led the program to multiple 20+ win seasons, league championships, and Northern California sectional playoff appearances. He has also coached at the club level with Encore, Drive, Academy, and Rage Westside, earning top finishes at national qualifiers and regional championships.

Throughout his career, Coach Walker has built a reputation for developing successful programs, strong team culture, and competitive athletes both on and off the court.

Postseason success looks different for every program, but one thing remains the same — earning a playoff spot is an accomplishment worth celebrating. Congratulations to all of our student-athletes, coaches, and programs that represented their schools in postseason play this year. No matter the number, every team that competed this season helped move their school and athletic program forward.

We celebrate the success we achieved this year while continuing to raise the standard for what’s ahead. The goal moving forward is continued growth, more opportunities, and even more teams competing in postseason play across both campuses.
