Lauren and Grant decided to branch out and joined the Scholastic Clay Target Program at Tulsa Gun Club. Their team is the Oklahoma Claybusters. In their first tournament Lauren got 1st in her division Trap and Grant got 2nd in his division Trap.

3/31...Be at the AG Barn (on 31st) no later than 8:50. You will need your shotgun, safety gear, vest/pouch, and appropriate dress (they supply shells). We will eat lunch about 11am at Deep Deuce Grill in OK (307 NE 2nd St. Oklahoma City, OK 73104). You should be able to eat on $20-$25. Shooting time is 2pm in El Reno (5102 S Evans Rd, El Reno, OK 73036). Parents are welcome to come watch the kids shoot. I anticipate being in El Reno by 1pm. We should be back by 4:30pm-5:00pm.

We only have 1 more practice left. Next week we will practice at Sand Springs. Regional shoot..March 31st. Leave from the AG Barn at 9am. You will need your shotgun and safety equipment. They provide shells. Dress in a solid purple t-shirt (any Mannford shirt will do), jeans or black shorts, shooting vest, and boots or tennis shoes (no Hey Dudes or Crocs). If you wear a hat it must be the black hat with purple “M”. You can get one in Sand Springs. We will stop in OKC for lunch, so bring some $$. Shoot time is 2pm.

As the parent of a HS student, I know just how well they communicate. Here is the revised calendar to make up the January snow days. We will have school on April 17, 24, and May 1.

March 31st...Regional Shoot in El Reno. Times have not been assigned yet. Participants will need their black shooting vest, purple Mannford shirt (any shirt as long as it's purple), black hat (if you wear a hat), jeans or black shorts, tennis shoes/boots (no Crocks or Hey Dudes). Hats can be purchased at D's Designs in Sand Springs or there are some at Phelps Grocery.

It will be an all day event, given how far it is. So plan for breakfast $ and lunch $.
