Help us welcome Kylin Reed to the incoming ’26 class!

Reed comes to CMU from Mannford, Oklahoma, where she was a 3-year starter for the Lady Pirate Wrestling team, multiple tournament champion and finalist, and multi-sport athlete competing in both wrestling and track. She was also a member of the 2024 State Academic Championship team.

Off the mat, she is a standout student with a 4.0 GPA, bringing the discipline, work ethic, and character that fit The CMU Way. She will represent the Eagles from Oklahoma

We are heartbroken to hear the news that one of our own incoming freshman James Slawson has passed. James was one of the hardest working and kind young men MPS has had come through. His coaches and peers knew him best for his contagious smile. We will all love and miss James. This news is devastating and we ask for you all to keep his family, friends, teammates, teachers and coaches in your prayers as our community navigates this tremendous tragedy.

A safe place for friends, family, and school staff will take place in the High School Commons on Monday May 18th from 1:00-3:00 pm.
