Professional fighter and coach Timothy Bender. Bender is coming to Kato Karate for a special introduction to Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA & Muay Thai!

Tim is a USA Boxing Coach & SafeSport Certified, former Throne MMA Featherweight Champion, 2024 Fighter of the Year, and has a 100% finish rate as a professional fighter. He’s also coached an Upper Midwest Golden Gloves Champion who went on to turn pro.

🥋 10 YEARS OF KATO KARATE! 🎉

10 years ago today, Kato Karate officially opened its doors.

It’s hard to believe an entire decade has gone by.

Over those 10 years, hundreds of students and families have been part of Kato Karate. Some stayed for a few months. Some stayed for years. Some grew up here. Every one of you has been part of our story.

And on Saturday, September 19, we’re celebrating!

🎉 Kato Karate 10-Year Anniversary Party & Open House

11:00 AM–12:00 PM: Potluck for current AND former Kato Karate students and families

12:00–1:30 PM: Open House for everyone, with demos, mini karate classes and more!

If you’ve ever trained at Kato Karate, I would LOVE to see you come back and celebrate with us. Former students and families are absolutely welcome!

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their kids, trained on our floor, supported the school, or simply cheered us on over the last decade.
