Maritime Marathon

While race weekend is our favorite couple of days of the year a close second is when we meet with the aid station groups to distribute race proceeds. Since our start in 2012 the race has given back more than $250,000 to local not for profits. The race couldn't happen without the following groups: Friends of the Mariners Trail, InCourage , Shoot’n For P, The Haven of Manitowoc County, Ascend Services, Inc., St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Painting Pathways Clubhouse Inc, Manitowoc Warming Shelter, Hope House of Manitowoc County

Lastly we'd like to thank you, the runners. There is no race is 800 + of you signed up for the race. It takes a village to make the race a success but it also take a village of wonderful runners. 34 states and 3 foreign countries converged on the Lakeshore last weekend.

Another record year in 2026 with plans to make next year even better!

Congrats on our very own Ken for winning his age group at Bellin this morning, while rocking his committee shirt from our first year in 2012. Saw a bunch of familiar faces today. Great job everyone.

In the long list of groups that help us be able to do what we do we want to thank Froedtert Holy Family Memorial.

They've been our medical provider since the races start in 2012. Staffing the medical tent at the start/finish, medical stations along the way and roving care in between.

We love having you there, but we like it best when you're bored on race day!

It's the moment you've all been waiting for as soon as you crossed the line on Sunday. Registration is officially open for the 15th Annual Maritime Marathon. Sunday June 6th, 2027!

The Maritime Marathon is on Sunday June 7, 2026. It includes the following events: Marathon, Virtual Marathon, Half Marathon, Virtual Half Marathon, Marathon - 4 Person Relay, and Maritime Nautical Run.
